Pros: Great sound. A lot of interfaces. Worked well in the last six years.

Cons: Really expensive. Can't believe I bought this years ago. Only one year warranty.

Other Thoughts: Finally died today.

4 out of 5 eggseh

Pros: the sound is awesome. Cubase & FruityLoops come with it.

Cons: i still haven't fully figured out the I/O hub. Line 2 doesn't work all the time.

Other Thoughts: i have a weird fuzzy noise that happens when i play hitman, and FEAR. i don't know if it's because of the card.i may contact creative about it.

1 out of 5 eggsVery Frustrating Experience

Pros: It had a remote.

Cons: The application interface is poorly designed and not for a novice user to understand. I spent the past 3 months with this sound card only ever half working and half in my possession. I could never get the Line-In 2 or the Line-In 3 on the rear of the external I/O hub to function. I sent this product back 3 times to Creative to have them look at the card and I/O hub to make sure nothing was broken on them. Every time I got a brand new card back and it took 15 business days to do a turn around. There Customer Support over the phone is absolutely terrible and worthless.

Other Thoughts: Worst experience I have ever had with a computer component. Do not buy this card unless you feel apt to waste money and time and get very frustrated.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty Great

Pros: I deleted my on-board sound drivers before installing, then went to website and downloaded drivers, and then installed card, and installed drivers, and I had no MAJOR problems. My Logitech Z-5300e's sound amazing, and the external box is cool looking and seems to be made with high quality materials.

Cons: MINOR PROBLEMS

Speakers at first were not playing in 5.1....turned off at Subwoofer instead of remote, and then they worked fine, I have had to do this several times

The Mic in/line 1 on the external box is not registering my microphone....annoying.....
no mic in on rear of box, as others have stated, "I spent 300 on speakers, 300 on a sound card, 100 on a wireless mouse and keyboard, and 200 on an LCD, dollars on a sound card, I want my desk to look clean!!!! oh well.

Other Thoughts: You can get this from a really long river that flows through south america, and rhymes with my mom, new for a price, with shipping, that is the same as if I were counting from 1-115.

4 out of 5 eggsDont Know What To Say

Pros: Lots of software to do whatever you want including recording multiple channels at once. BF2 really came alive with all new sounds. The external device is nice for independent volume control of a mic and headphones. Nice to have the optical input and output, although I personally dont use midi, it must be nice for those who do. The PRICE!!! Very NICE!!!

Cons: Software is a pain in the rear. It takes forever to install and it took me about 3 to 4 times re-installing it to get it to work right with digital optical outputs to my BOSE system. Not to mention the software is bulky and by default installs a billion services to slow down your rig.

The optical output and inputs should be on the back, I dont want wires hanging in front of me unless it is my headphones.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I am glad I got it, although only because it was on sale.

There is a huge difference in games, but once you get used to it, you dont notice the difference anymore.

Be selective about the software you install. The remote would be cool, but not so cool that I am willing to deal the overhead to run it. SoundBlaster gives you a lot of nifty software options, but I pitty the fool that thinks they need it all and ultimatley slows down their PC.

5 out of 5 eggsworks Great

Pros: Sound Quality is great on this card. I had issues with my turtle beach sound card because a lot of the games I played wanted to use eax or only supported creative labs . I got this card the sound difference is amazing everything is so much clearer and running the monster optical cable from the ext. hub to my surround sound receiver in my living room makes my games sound even better.

Cons: Wish it was the X-FI but for price I'll stick with what I got. :)

4 out of 5 eggsIts good but it could be better

Pros: all the ports and knobs on the external box are very nice to have. The software has a few nice features such as mute speakers on detection of headphones (you can turn this on or off so it doesn't mute them). You can use this for a small recording studio to just play around with. haven't got to really test it in games yet. CRSS sounds great with headphones on.

Cons: To start off i used the installation cd to install everything i wanted with alot of stuff not installed. The splash screen that loads at startup after installing gave me blue screens. easy to get around just turn it off in msconfig. The 1/4" Line In connections need to be preamped for a guitar. If you set Line In 1 to MIC (turn the knob on) then it will preamp Line In 1 only and not very good.

Other Thoughts: If the Line In's came with 2 built in pre-amp's of better quailty then i would reccomend this to all.

4 out of 5 eggsAudigy 4 review

Pros: Good quality sound, got this on Thanksgiving holidays for xxx backs and got shipped in less then 3 days from NJ location.

Cons: I just found out that it will be an issue with Vista upgrade because of Creative is not making a new driver for Audigy products, but all X-FI are on schedule.

Other Thoughts: have my card connected to 6 multi-chanals input to my receiver and set 5.1 stereo simulated output - the quality is IMAZING, even MP3 sound differently!!!
Could of put 5 rating but because of Vista support is 4... but who cares about Vista - go with it!
