Pros: works, and its cheap make sure you update your realtek audio codecs and your real player if you are using an older version

Cons: mini-cd that contains the "drivers" does not have a functioning executable version.....annoying, but card works fine, also no screw as someone already mentioned.

Other Thoughts: the majority of these cards are functional unlike all the comments written below the problem is the driver cd that comes with it. Look at the chip on the card (or even the card itself) to find the correct s/n of the device. The card I bought was "FM801 AU" simply type the s/n into g00g13 and you should find it.

Pros: the sound worked fine.

Cons: I bought this card for the gameport for my abit nf7-s2 only has usb inputs and after a lot of hours of trial and error I find on the www.cmedia.com under forums that this boards gameport will not work with a motherboard having a navidia nforce chipset.newegg was more than fair with me over this problem and I hope this review keep some of you from having this problem.

Pros: None

Cons: Junk out of the box. drivers would not load. Tried everything to no avail. took it bacy out put back in box. I will give it to some unsupecting sole!

Cons: Everything. Card did not work, I followed the not discriptive directions and the drivers on the included CD did not work and i could not find drivers on the web

Pros: I literally opened the box, stuck this sound card into my motherboard, turned on my computer, and within 2 minutes I had excellent sound. My Windows XP Pro automatically found and installed drivers for this card from the Internet so I had zero problems as far as getting a driver to make this card work.

As for the card, I honestly cannot tell a difference between the sound quality from this sound card and the Creative X-fi Sound Blaster that I fried, however, I do not consider myself to be an audiophile and my speakers are quite limited anyways.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I cannot believe how good this sound card is considering the price. I thought this would be a total joke, but boy was I wrong. Get this card if you just need a good, cheap card, you will not be disappointed. What an amazing deal!
