Pros: -Incredible video for the price. I am taking video editing in college and the other cameras that the class uses just can't even compete with the quality. -Surprisingly great sound out of the stock microphone. I would suggest getting an aftermarket condenser microphone, as it greatly improves the sound. -Small and lightweight.
Cons: -Battery life isn't the best, but a good third party battery can be purchased on many sites. Just search the model. I got two for 40$ and they work fine. -The software is garbage but you don't need it. Get VLC media player or Windows Media Player Classic for playing videos (both free). Also get a good encoding program, just search for a media encoder and you will find a bunch of free ones. This will greatly reduce the file sizes and keep a lot of the quality at the same time. Adobe Contribute or Nero Vision are great and simple for creating DVD's of the videos as well.
Other Thoughts: This is a great camera. It is well worth the money. You just need a couple of things (mentioned above), and you will be filled with joy.

Pros: Nice video quallity
Cons: Battery performance is bad, and spare battery's are very expensive.
My Battery wont charge after 3 use already, hope support will change battery :(
