5 out of 5 eggsBest Point & Shoot Camera!

Pros: Excellent performance in lower light situations. The flash seems to have a much longer range than my past cameras. The large LCD is great too - very easy to see in bright sunlight outdoors. The camera is one of the most responsive that I've used. Zoom is fast, autofocus is fast, processing time seems fast. The rechargable Li-ion pack seems to last for quite a few pictures.

Cons: Although some say the XD card is slower, I haven't noticed it. And the prices on XD cards has really dropped. I wouldn't call the card format a con at all.

Other Thoughts: Fuji got everything right with this one. And I don't know how they are selling these so cheap!

5 out of 5 eggsThe best sub $200 Camera available PERIOD!

Pros: FujiFilm SuperCCD rivals anyones optical sensor. They bring outstanding color and make the pictures feel alive... it's tough to explain. You'd have to try it. This is the best point and shoot available for under $200... and can probably beat some higher priced point and shoots too.

Cons: Does not have optical image stabilization... You need a steady hand, but that is how it was done prior to the OIS technology. Uses xD cards that are small and easy to lose. SD would be better. Would have preferred AA batteries, but all these things are minor for us.

Other Thoughts: I own a FinePix S9100 and love it... Got this for my daughter and wife to use... and I love it as well!!! FujiFilm is the most under-rated camera around. They are outstanding!

5 out of 5 eggsLove This Camera

Pros: I was someone looking for a camera with certain features under a certain price range & this one met that need perfectly. I especially needed something user friendly (easy features, understanding, etc..). I’ve had a chance to play with it, finding that more often then not the pictures came out clear & crisp, without me making much of an effort. LOVE the flash/no flash natural combo feature as some pics come out looking better in one lighting than another, but this gives you either to pick from. The only real difference in this one vs the F30 is the manual aperture, which for someone like me didn’t matter. So if you want an everyday, lightweight, camera with a solid build & long lasting battery life this is it.

Cons: You're better off buying the 1G xD card. So far no problems with that as I got both included in a combo when I purchased it. & it's now on Newegg about $30 cheaper than what I got it for.

Other Thoughts: I did a lot of reading & comparing before making the purchase I did, & since & have found this little wonder has kept up with it's promises, plus many of the sites I've visited have a slew of excellent reviews, some cons, but very little in comparison to other cameras.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Point and Shoot

Pros: If you choose this camera you will not be disappointed. Fuji makes great cameras for low light conditions. I can take up to 680 pictures with a 1 GB xD Type M. There is very little noise compared to other brands such as Canon, Sony, Panasonic, etc. The pictures are comparable to a DSLR camera. Now that tells you something!

Cons: xD card, but it's worth it to get great quality pictures.

Other Thoughts: Best bang for your buck. Don't want to spend much, then go for this camera. You will not regret it. I use this camera everyday to take precious memories. Now go get it!

4 out of 5 eggsvery nice

Pros: -Fairly high ISO capability
-Solid construction
-Large LCD
-Great image quality at the lower ISO's
-near 'idiot proof'
-fantastic battery life

Cons: -You can turn photo's into watercolor paintings by cranking the ISO up
-Limited manual controls
-xD cards are a pain to deal with as compared to SD cards

Other Thoughts: Highly recommended camera for someone who shoots everyday type photos. It's versatile and has great battery life too! Don't be fooled, digital image stabilization is not the same as optical image stabilization. Otherwise, tough to go wrong with this camera.

5 out of 5 eggsAMAZING - GREAT DEAL

Pros: This camera is amazing. It takes great, vivid pictures of anything, but if you are looking for a camera that takes great action shots too, this is the one. The high ISO speed coupled with the high shutter speed make this camera a must have for sports enthusiasts. Great start up time too, hit the power button, and its on. And this camera is at a great price, I wouldn't recomend any other camera.

Cons: XD card, but thats not horrible, don't let it deter you.

Other Thoughts: Best deal out there, quality of pictures is amazing.

5 out of 5 eggsCouldn't find a better Point & Shoot!

Pros: Let me start by saying I work at a camera shop and sold these all through the months of november - february. I have a very strong knowledge of cameras/processing and comparing EVERY model that comes out. This took the cake. For it's price, no camera (period) beat it. At all. Nothing came close. Everyone at my store only sold this camera when we had the opportunity. I purchased 2 of them personally. I own other film and digtal SLR cameras and when stacked up side by side, these shots still look phenomenal. It's crazy fast because of the shutter, no lag time, no delay, and a fast continuous mode. The individual ISO settings work great even in low light and the macro mode is equally impressive.

BUY THIS CAMERA!

Cons: None. You could get a camera with more features but you could still very easily be dissapointed. The playback is great, you can leave voice notes on pictures, it really does all it says and more.

Other Thoughts: Still haven't had an unhappy customer out of possibly 300 people. I use mine constantly!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This camera is as good as they come in the under 200 point-and- shoot category. I tried most of the preprogrammed modes and they work perfect. Even in a dark room, with no flash (museum mode)I got very respectable results. Battery life is very good, the screen is nice and big. Using it to a full potential requires only an hour or so with te manual. Very happy with the combo that includes a nice tripod and 1GB storage card- good for about 300 pictures in highest quality setting.

Cons: Manual settings somewhat limited, but it's a point and shoot- it's supposed to be automatic.

Other Thoughts: Get the combo. It's well worth it.
