Pros: Works wonderfully with Windows XP and Vista. Little to no installation or operational problems outside of downloading updates (see cons). Catches most things, and seems to work fairly well for protection. Use on up to 3 machines and monitor all three from any of them!
Cons: You order this, get the disk, and still have to download it from the net. The advantage is with the disk you save money cause the online purchase price from MS is 49.95 or something. So buy it on disk, but be prepared to download. Also requires the setup of a live account, not a big deal but takes a few minutes. Helps if you already have one.
Other Thoughts: It's a decent average working product. You get not only Anti-Virus, but Windows Defender is built in, a more enhanced firewall, backup tools, performance tools and they work well with windows, rather than replacing them with something else like *coughsymanteccough I gave it 4 stars for the downloading requirements that severely limit things with a Dial-up internet connection.

Pros: All in one, no hassles with running multiple programs for computer upkeep. Minimal idle system usage.
Cons: Yearly subscription fees
Other Thoughts: I've been using this on my computer for nearly a year and love it. I set it to do a full system tune up every sunday. I don't need to bother with running a defrag, backup, update, virus scan, etc. I installed this after a reformatting a year ago and it's kept my comp running as fast as ever.

Pros: Low price, up to 3 computers, firewall and anti-virus in one. No worrys, no problems, no infections.
Cons: Disk defrag could be better. On line back up cost more but I don't care I prefere DVD backups for docs and pics. No hard drive falure to worry about.
Other Thoughts: I wanted better firewall on my pc for free to cheap for 64-bit OS that wouldn't bog me down with tons of extras. Free was not happening with zonealarm and all other free 64-bit firwalls were to complicated. I could figure it out but nahhh I have better things to do with my time and have a life. I was very sceptical. So I installed 90 day trial first and to my surprize I have not had any problems 5 months later. My daughters older computer (1.8ghz socket 478, 512 ram) runs a little slow on it so she went back to free avg till she gets a new computer. I run Vista Ultimate 64-bit with UAC off and it works fine.

Pros: I installed it on my Vista Business 64 bit box without a hitch. I have been trying internet suites for the last two months and this one works great. Most people never use halve of the features that come with Norton and the other bloated suites anyway.I would give this one a shot if you a looking for one that simply works.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Don't let the posts about 64 bit fool you. Maybe it doesn't work with XP 64,but how many people have that OS anyway?

Pros: Upgrading my subscription was easy as pie. It didn't even require loading the CD. Just keyed-in the Product Key into the subscription renewal form. Done!

Pros: live care is great but.... see cons
Cons: I didn't pay attention and made the mistake of getting the wrong version oem is not the version you want if you are the end user!!!! although I can not get in contact with anyone a newegg because it is after hours I don't think it can be returned, $ wasted down the tubes
Other Thoughts: really read all the stinking fine print, if a deal looks to good it probably is!!!!!
