Pros: Does the job out of the box :-) Great price & the egg comes through again!!

Other Thoughts: Make sure you follow the instructions to the letter! All will go well...... Haven't got the increase in speed that some have reported, but no big deal & could be my ISP any how..... As a note my ASUS M2N32 SLI Deluxe(less than 2 yrs old)on board LAN went south that's why the D-Link.....

tripled my speed

Pros: put on older computer (10+years) with only 256 megs of ram and windows xp. Using speedtest.net, it went from 5mbps to 17+mbps. This is an excellent board.
Cons: None for my application. It worked very well.
Other Thoughts: I am considering adding to some newer computers. The board must really have some good buffers on it to make this kind of difference. My mother-in-law can do streaming video now and she couldn't before.

Go with D-LINK

Pros: On-board Intel NIC died for no reasons. I got a D-LINK wireless router working smoothly for years and decided to try its NIC for this time. Surprisingly I experienced faster than on-board nic speed(I thought it would have no difference theoretically ). Easy installation for various windows OS even without the driver CD. With this price, what can I say?
Cons: Lastest driver is in the CD with the box not online.
Other Thoughts: This is Revision F2 with Realtek 8139(D) chip. Unless you're biased against Realtek, I think it's every good chip itself. Rememeber to secure your cable.
