5 out of 5 eggsEasy and Fast

Pros: Works flawlessly with my Xbox 360. Supports Super-G speeds.

Cons: Runs a bit hot.

Other Thoughts: Once every two months or so it needs to be reset, but this is very minor. Excellent and simple product.

5 out of 5 eggsBuy this, seriously!

Pros: Way better then what Microsoft has to offer, you buy this you save yourself money to buy something worthwhile... like a hat.

Cons: Took some time to figure out why it didn't link the Xbox, but once you update and set the passcodes and ips and stuff it works like a charm!

Other Thoughts: I'm glad I went with this, I never experiencelag or drop out. Buy this!

1 out of 5 eggsworked okay when it worked.

Pros: fairly easy setup. great connection when i had it running.

Cons: It just stopped working after 4-5 months of use. I came home one day and the power light and connectivity light were both off. i tried power cycling it, i tried just about ever outlet in my home, and it still wouldnt turn on. i dont know if this was just a rare case or it happens all the time.

Other Thoughts: worked fine while it was still working.
I still think D-link makes great products and newegg is always rock solid with shipping and the whole buying process.

5 out of 5 eggsJackpot

Pros: REMOVABLE ANTENNA!!! I've used that terrible MN-740 microsoft bridge forever now and could never get a good signal, even right next to the router. I threw a 7dBi antenna on this and get a fantastic signal in the basement.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Just plugged it in to the 360 and it configures itself, great range and it barely gets warm so I don't know why others said it was pretty much a heater. Definitely a great buy!

5 out of 5 eggsworks fine

Pros: detachable antenna; OS independent

Cons: limited wireless security options

Other Thoughts: I bought this to use with a PC to connect to a wireless network. Configuration was very easy and I had it working in less than 15 minutes. Unlike a PCI card wireless adapter, it doesn't take up a slot, and doesn't have the driver headaches common to get most pci wireless cards to work under Linux.

Cons: It gets hot .Stays on all the time wish there was a power button ,not really a con, i just unplug at nite when not in use

Other Thoughts: first microsoft adapter fried after 2 months off having it, the second one i got was DOA .

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I use this with an Xbox 360 in a separate room and my cellphone using UMA throughout the house. Signal is great on both, speed is great as well. Xbox 360 recognized it as a wireless bridge and I possibly could have set it up through that.

Cons: I didn't realize the Xbox 360 would recognize it so i set it up through my computer. I had to disable one of my two NIC's to be able to access the setup page. This caused me to lose connection with my router and through the process the connection with my wireless AP. I had to double check everything to make sure it was all set-up right. Which required disabling and re-enabling NIC's. Quite a pain in the rear.

Other Thoughts: Be careful when using with twin NIC's you might have to disable one or the other to get to the set-up page. Direct ethernet connection to computer is needed. Although time consuming it was easy to set-up once i was there.

4 out of 5 eggsGood bridge.

Pros: Good speed - good coverage.

Cons: Cell phones/ cordless phones can disrupt the signal and force the bridge to lose connection to your router.

Other Thoughts: Good bridge - I do recommend it, but make sure you or someone you know has an understanding of wireless networking. I struggled w/ it, because this is my 1st wireless network.

1 out of 5 eggsThe definitive review

Pros: Other agree with me that this product is garbage.

Cons: This product stinks. Linked up with my DI-624 rev C, at a not too far distance the signal strength was only 53%. I had to drop my DI-624 back down from WPA2/AES to WPA/TKIP since thats all it supports. Once i made them link up at SuperG i had massive packet loss and absurd high ping times. Disabling Super G connectivity was stable and responsive. But why buy this product then??
DO NOT TRY TO BRIDGE MULTIPLE DEVICES BEHIND IT. I dont care what other people say. It flat out does not work.

Other Thoughts: I purchased 2 7dBi High Gain antennas to prevent signal issues. Obviously that didn't help.

I guess is you can get your SINGLE device close, disable super G, lower your security settings you may get OK results.

NEXT!
