Great Computer
- Pros: I have three of these computers. They all work well and have nice wide screens. They are extraordinarily thin compared to the old dells i had and dont need vent cleaning every 2 months. (My dell notebooks did)
- Cons: Touchpad is a bit annoyin.
- Other Thoughts: Great for anyone looking for a good comoputer.
Great Deal
- Pros: 1.66GHz Core Duo is fast, about twice the speed of my 2.93GHz Celeron. This is a great deal, especially with the specs it has. Overall, it is the best deal I have found for a laptop.
- Cons: The GMA 950 graphics are not good for gaming, but I already knew this, and I am not a gamer. Everyone complains that it doesn't come with a restore disc, but it asks you to make one at first boot. The hard drive is formatted in FAT32 and thus it is partitioned, but it is easy to take care of this. The curved keyboard is hard to get used to if you "chicken peck" like I do. Other than minor stuff that can be taken care of, there are no cons.
- Other Thoughts: This was definitely a great buy, I am glad I found this deal. I am very pleased with everything about this laptop. Newegg took longer than expected to process, but it still shipped fast and I had it within a week of ordering, and that included a holiday weekend.
Great Buy
- Pros: Good price, fast large SATA hard drive, lots of memory, cool keyboard, Acer service is easy to talk to, they are in Texas, so you get to talk to an AMERICAN!!
- Cons: Partitioning of hard drive into 2 smaller partitions, and are FAT32 (not a big deal to convert)

- Other Thoughts: This is a rock solid unit from a great company. I had to call Acer about my extended warranty activation, they were very helpful and quickly answered my questions. Plus-they English speaking AMERICANS!!
