Pros: great computer, i left it on for a long time and it only got warm, my sis mac you can make breakfeast one.

Cons: the sceen is glossy...thats about it

Other Thoughts: overal a great laptop that i recommend, rly good specs for the money, and the turion x2 will wipe the floor with a core duo when vista comes out casue this x2 is 64 bit while the intel core cuo is 32-bit.....so right now the core duo migth work a lil better but when vista comes outs it will leave intel behind

Good for student item

Tech Level: high - Ownership: less than 1 day

Pros: Nice keyboard stroke, outfit, good spec..I have checked all this class notebook throughout all offline stores. This class notebook is better than dv2000 series. dv2000 keyboard seems be little bit uneven. Black coating looks very professional and reminds me of old IBM heroes.

15 inch dv3000 series has some warm area around touch pad. But 14 inch dv3000 series was very cool over keyboard and touch pad.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Dou Core 2 Mobile? Intel will launch duo core 2 mobile version(merom) near this september 2006. If you want little bit more, passing 'back to school sale season', you could buy a superb notebook with almost same design. I guess HP will replace some old notebook lines with brand new core.

BTW, turion 64 X2 is also great cpu for student, too.
