Pros: Great spec's for the price. FSB at 1066 MHz, Blu-ray, 4GB RAM. Fast Boot-up (once you delete all the preloaded junk). Unlike the other reviewers, I actually really like the color. Lots of USB ports. This laptop does not get hot after hours of use.
Cons: Like I wrote above, there is ALOT of pre-loaded junk programs, takes alot of the resources away. Once all the junk is un-installed and completely removed everything is much faster.
The only other con that I can think of is the keys are really hard to read, bronze and white don't contrast really well. Again

Pros: I was looking for a Desktop Replacement I'm an online gamer and home base bussines so i need it a powerfull laptop. This laptop have all i need, Starting with the CPU Intel Pentium core 2 Duo P8600 2.4Ghz wich has a 1066Mhz Front Bus and 3Mb L2 Cache, 4Gb Memory Exp to 8Gb, 17" XGA+ Screen, 320Gb STAt HDD, Hvidia Geforce 9600M GT with 512Mb Dedicated, Blue Ray Disc Drive.
Cons: Its not free
Other Thoughts: With this configuration under $1,200 is a bargain. I can play most of the latest games as COD4, COD5 with no lag. Newegg is by far the best computer related online supplier in the world. Thanks Newegg.

Pros: Latest Gen of Centrino CPUs (with 1033Mhz FSB) BLUE RAY Disc player 9600GT with 512Mb DDR2 VRAM 17'' WXGA+ (i.e. can do full HD)
Cons: Bronze Color (not a major factor). 5400rpm HD. Finger print magnet. Some bloatware (not a major issue).
Other Thoughts: First let me say that I very, very rarely give 5-star rating to any product; however, this product has met and exceeded all my expectations.
1. The nVidia 9600GT might not be able to play Crysis maxxed out, but it surely runs my favorite games in high with no overheating whatsoever. Plays DDO and Runes of Magic flawlessly on high detail settings. Definitely a pretty darn good performer for the slightly above casual player. However, you sholdn't expect desktop-grade game performance.
2. The screen is beautiful and ample. Colors are well defined and properly saturated.
3. Blue Ray Disc. Yup ... you have a full HD capable LCD screen why not put it to good use? :) BTW, it looks astonishing.
4. CPU (Perynn) with 1066Mhz FSB is (are) very snappy and and perform very well.
5. a/b/g/n WiFi adapter. Gb Ethernet adapter.
Bloatware is never a problem for me. I simply run msconfig, take out of the boot sequence and then uninstall them at my leisure. This is a great laptop. Period

Pros: For starters its huge biggest laptop i have ever owned. Great onboard audio it sounds great and its gets pretty loud. full keyboard. Windows media center remote control works great and tucks away inside the case. burns great discs but refuses to write on certain companies discs. Battery life is great considering the size. Wireless lan works great internet is fast. card reader writer. easy to set up easy to use. great laptop Came with vista
Cons: The built in page scroll on the mouse broke or is disabled. Airflow for the cpu sucks when its one a table, i had to put new cleats on to raise the back up. It is a little shaky when playing hd videos from the optical drive, but its just fine if your streaming from the internet. Case shows finger prints easily. Came with vista

Pros: I like the feel of the key action, the big screen and the operation of the computer. A big plus for me is the ability to turn the synaptic pad off with the button next to it.
Cons: Hard to see the key ID when in subdued lighting. A good typist would not have any problems with this, but occassionally I hunt and peck.
Other Thoughts: I use this computer to capture SD DV video and or audio with no problems. To be fair I use a separate 7200RPM external USB hdd for the capture. Software:Newtek Speededit and Sony Vegas platinum.
