Asus W7J Core Duo
- Pros: Screen size if perfect for people on the go. Lightweight. A lot of connectivity, Firewire, USB, Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11a/b/g. nVidia Dedicated Graphic. TPM security Module. Webcam and integrate MIC. Asus has include a very nice OSD. The power mode provide good power management.
- Cons: The unit is warm to touch. Touch pad is not very sensitive or percise and take some getting use to. Comes with too much pre installed junk. The speaker could be better.
- Other Thoughts: This is certainly the best laptop I've own in the thin and light category. It comes with bright and vivid display, a lot of wiresless connection including BT and WiFi. The webcam and integrated mic makes this notebook a great business tool. I can use MSN or Skype for video conference without attaching all the extra.
Very Good
- Pros: Very light and fast.
Everything is already built-in.
ASUS quality and value.
- Cons: built-in camera is fixed. you need to turn and tilt entire laptop to get the pictures you want.
- Other Thoughts: Need high capcity battery.
It's OK now but with this weight it would have been better with high capacity / longer life battery.
- Pros: Awesome features, excellent battery life, crisp screen, comfy keyboard. Bluetooth, Gigabit, and 7-series graphics! Perfect size and feels well built. Looks great too. Windows XP Professional rounds it all out into a great package for work and for gaming.
- Cons: None. But don't expect to be playing DX9 games on high settings. I play mainly Source engine based games and at medium settings with HDR disabled I average around 40FPS.
