4 out of 5 eggsGood cooler

Pros: Cools my x1900xt to 70 C on load, which is better than the stock cooler at 100%. Very quiet much quieter than the stock fan.

Cons: Does not fit on a x1900 crossfire board because the top port is bigger than a standard x1900xt card. I bought this cooler for the x1900 crossfire card cause it was overheating and on thermaltakes website it states x1900xt (crossfire) which I apparently was mislead to believe the x1900 crossfire card.

Other Thoughts: If you want to OC your card or just want good cheap cooler that is 10x quieter than the stock one get this.

5 out of 5 eggsVga Cooling

Pros: Quiet! 35C at idle through ATI CCC monitor. Not an over clocker yet but working day by day to do just that. My reviews will get better.

Cons: None that I can tell, just have a well ventilated case. A closed box DELL will need a fresh supply of ice cubes every couple of hours to keep the temps down!

:)

Other Thoughts: with Zalman 9700 LED proc cooler venting out the back... Simple hdd coolers on a 320gig and a 250 gig... Crab mem cooler... Running in a NZXT piano case as I like to call it with 3 120mm fans, this is probably the reason for the lower temps recorded by myself as apposed to the last comment here. Running a HIS ATI 1950 pro with a Thermaltake CL-G0086 vga cooler. The side cooloing by this case and all the other fans running probably account for lower temps that I have recorded. I found the manual quite good and it was not a problem at all to place the memmory cooling pads as stated by the first comment here.

4 out of 5 eggsIts a trade off

Pros: IT IS QUIET and stays that way.
100% rpm all the time and quiet.
Dont need fan control.

Cons: 1st. Thermal pads are a pain without the right technique putting them on.
2nd. Requires toothpicks or the like to guide fan/hs exactly where its supposed to go. Otherwise you'll be peeling thermal pads off of your hs and re-placing them, and cleaning your gpu and surrounding area, and reapplying thermal paste. (better have some handy, it does not come with any)
3rd. One of the screws was too short and would not tighten even after trying it without washer.
Atitool 3d view can push this from 51c to 85c+ super fast

Other Thoughts: IDLE STOCK: BF2142 LOAD
FAN:56% 56-69%
GPU:47C 58-63C
TEMP CHIP: 41C 42C
CPU OC'D 5200+@3GHZ:34C 43C
CPU FAN: 50% 70-80%

W/G0086
IDLE STOCK: BF2142 LOAD
FAN:100% 100%
GPU:51C 65C
TEMP CHIP: 43C 46C
CPU OC'D 5200+@3GHZ:38C 52C
CPU FAN: 50% 100%

Point being the heat this blows into the case is signficant. Id rather keep the lifespan on my hardware than be just slightly quieter under load. Youre gonna find that the temps with this cooler will require you to turn up your cpu fan which will produce about the same amount of noise as your stock fan at 56-69% rpm with a gpu temp much lower than with the G0086.

I would suggest getting atitool and setting fan speeds. If this does a good job of anything, its keeping quieter than your cpu/psu and rear fan at idle on 50%rpms
