Socket 478 (Intel Pentium 4),
Socket 775 (Pentium 4 "Prescott", Pentium D),

The "Nocona" hardware is not included with the Apogee water-block when sold separately, and it should also be procured separately under part number: AP-NC604 ($3.00)

Note 2: AMD socket 462 (socket A). The Apogee can be used exclusively with motherboards featuring the 4 mounting holes around the socket.

Removal of the motherboard is necessary to install the mounting posts in all cases, except with AMD Athlon 64 and Opteron (socket 754, 939 and 940).

5 out of 5 eggs3.5 yrs. and still running

Pros: Have used the older version with older style waterblock and slightly larger resevoir for 3.5 years daily without ever having a leak or failure. Excellent quality product.

Cons: Installation booklet left a little to be desired. I had to buy a seperate tube splice connector and 2x clamps for the setup I used. Resevoir filler hatch nut cheap, required taping down with velcro tape for airtight fit.

Other Thoughts: Old AMD XPM-2600 at 1.9vcore at 2.61ghz. for 3.5 years. Load temps never exceeded 43-44C. All parts still working without a hitch, and as a matter of fact, I only added fluids once for a mild top off about a year ago, and since no loss by evaporation or leakage. I'm about ready for an Apogee upgrade for my upcoming build.

4 out of 5 eggsPerforms well, but item recieved is not what is pictured

Pros: Very silent. Performs very well. CPU temps down to 16c idle from 45c, and 37c load from 75c. 5600+ OC to 3.0

Nice starter kit

Cons: Not the product I ordered. Saw other reviews about missing items and wrong items so I check with Egg's support. Was told that the items were correct, and if they were incorrect, they would take it back and refund my order (less shipping). Took my chance, but it was wrong in the end.

Missing a few clamps, tube coils are GREEN (very ugly with the blue water) The resevoir was supposed to in a 5.25" driver bay with the pump, in a single unit. Res and pump are seperal. I made due, but had to modify my case to make everything fit.

This was not why i ordered this specific kit.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat starter

Pros: Great WC setup... Keeps my 6000+ @ 3.32 nice and cool. Very easy to setup. I leak tested mine on the workbench for 24 hours before installing it in my system.

Cons: Newegg was out at the time of my purchase and had a pay a little more than they sold it for.. But oh well...

Other Thoughts: My Rig: AMD 6000+ @ 3.32 Gigs, ASUS M2R32-MVP Motherboard, 4 gigs of Corsair XMS2 Memory, 2x Sapphire X1950 Pro's w/512 memory each in Crossfire, ASUS PhysX Card, 2x WD SATA Raptors Striped, 700 Watt PS, Swiftech water cooling on CPU and Zerotherm GX810 on each X1950...

5 out of 5 eggsQuality cooling system for the right price!!!

Pros: - silent
- powerful
- simply to install
- keeps temps really low
- top of the line for a single component water cooling system
- tubing is excellent in preventing kinks with tight bends
- grommet nice & snug preventing tubing from moving around

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Kit is keeping my AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ cool and silent. I plan on cooling my 8800GTX. This will need a much larger radiator and a stronger pump. I didn't end up using the clamps provided. Zip ties were good enough just for added insurance since the tubing to fittings was snug enough alone. For those complaining of noise, make sure all the bubbles in your cooling system is out. The pump will quiet down considerably once all the excess air is out.

5 out of 5 eggsH20-120 Premium

Pros: Very quiet. I mean, SILENT! With the radiator fan using the 7v cable, it inaudible. So is the pump. Cools very well; keeps my x2 3800+ at 27C. Installation is easy (well for me).

Cons: Not enough hose clamps. It says that each major component comes with hoseclamps. This is true for the radiator, waterblock, and reservoir. The pump didnt have any included clamps. Had to run out and buy 2 of them. Also, not enough smartcoils, but maybe i was too generous with them.

Other Thoughts: Whoever thinks this kit is noisy, you are crazy. Absolutely silent.

4 out of 5 eggsWhere's all my stuff!?!?!

Pros: Well, it comes with one of the best cpu water blocks and radiators of it's size and they work like a charm...(also the Céramique heat paste is AWESOME)

Cons: Missing hose clamps and very poor instructions, not enough coils for the hose, and doesn't come as a 5 1/4 tray for the pump/reservoir.

Other Thoughts: I was pretty disappointed when i had to go buy hose clamps because it didn't have any, and also the drive bay thing was a bummer, seeing as how i had to modify my case for the pump/reservoir. Overall it's still the best bang for your buck.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: cooled my processor from 72C to 32c with no difficulty.

Cons: The product as described in the ad pictures are not what is shipped with this product. Upon receipt I was missing the 5 1/4 tray mounting plate, and most of the hardware shown, I had to run out and buy additional hose clamps because there were not enough shipped with the kit. The installation instructions are at best laughable, they are difficult if not impossible to follow. Unless you have a good understanding of plumbing or how a cooling system works in an automobile you will have a hard time trying to figure out the proper way to install the tubing. The system is extremely noisy, but it works.

Other Thoughts: I called the manufacturer of this product and spoke to a rather rude individual who claimed to be the CEO of the company. Even before I had the chance to completely describe my problem I was informed that I did not read their mimimal instructions prior to installation. The fact that I read what they laughingly call instructions 4 times prior to installation meant nothing to him. I was told that he heard this story many times before and any problems are always the fault of the installer or end user.

5 out of 5 eggsgood product good support

Pros: kept my e6400 cool when overclocked.
Great support, new back bracket was sent free for me.
Awesome watercooling setup for any dual core setup.
Tubing in this kit is way better than tygon tubing I ordered

Cons: not enough cooling power to cool a quad. had to upgrade radiator and get mcp350 mod for it and now it works like a charm.

Other Thoughts: buy Swiftech H20-220-APEX-GT for more cooling power. overal experience with this product was really good. now modden premium is cooling my q6600@3GHZ with good temps.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Great, Annoying And Lengthy Installation

Pros: Keeps E6600@2.8ghz at 25C idle 32C Load. Great Pump, Very quiet, liquid glows great, Anti-Kink coils do a wonderful job, Reliable brand. Great CPU Waterblock.

Cons: Installation took a good 4 or 5 hours. It appears in the picture that the reservoir and pump come in a 5.25" drive configuration but this was not the case. I had to drill holes to hang the reservoir from the top of the case and I Velcro'd the pump to the bottom of the case.

Other Thoughts: Overall I would definitely recommend this product. It is a all in one kit, and it works great. However, installation is very annoying.
