Amazed
- Pros: Fit my 7600GT AGP without issue. Easy installation. Wire length sufficient to reach motherboard fan headers. Very quiet fan, rarely above 33% speed.
- Cons: Could not use memory sinks due to space reqs, but that's really the fault of the graphics card and design. Negative eggs on me for not getting this sooner.
- Other Thoughts: I'm amazed. With stock cooling, best stable OC was 580/750 (1500). With this Zalman, using the supplied TIM, I'm sitting easily on a 700/800 (1600). Max OC temps have been 53C after an hour of FurMark compared to 55+ using stock cooling at default clocks. Mobo header allows very easy graphics temp monitoring without needing a plug rewiring (2-pin card header, 3-pin plug).
Zalman ROCKS
- Pros: this fan works really well, cools the video card significantly. I bought it to replace the cheap fan on my AGP 7600GT. It has a nice LED :P
- Cons: nothing? it's kinda big, lol but what do you expect?
- Other Thoughts: I'll definately buy more zalman products ^^
A Good Fan With a Nice LED
- Pros: Fairly easy to install. These things fit fairly nicely on my 9600 gt's on SLI although the bottom screw on my second card barely touches the end of the heatsink on my first card. The LED is nice although not too bright. It cooled my first card from 58 degrees C to 45 and my second card from 63 to 43.
- Cons: Wish it was a little smaller, but then it wouldn't have done such a good job of cooling eh?
- Other Thoughts: Great buy especially if you're running stock cooling!
