- Pros: Your cpu or case temp is very dependent on ambient temperature of the room.
OC'd a x2 3800+ to 2.4GHz on each core. (up from 2.0GHz on each core)
Idles in the high 20s and only break 40 when 'stress testing'
- Cons: it was snug, i figured it out, but it was a tight fit (i guess that could be a good thing)
- Other Thoughts: it feels pretty solid
Great product - exceeded expectations
- Pros: superb copper material - mounted perfectly on my K8V-X mobo - and i mean perfectly snug and tight, w/out any effort
- Cons: the noise level is, at times, noticeable, but tolerable
- Other Thoughts: might not be adequate cooling come summer time - the core temp is at an average 28-32C - come summer, that'll sky-rocket to around 40-46C, idle - will invest in water cooling soon..just the thought of water in my system give me the willies. . .
Had one for a while
- Pros: Copper, quality fan, good price.
- Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: I've had one for well over a year now...kept remarkable temps on a A64 2800+, and is still capable of cooling my 3700+ without issue.
