Better than Tuniq Tower!
- Pros: Your high/load temps will be instantly dropped by about 10C. My e6600 is now running at 3.8GHz Orthos 12Hr thanks to this sweet baby! Temps never go above 65C which is hot, but not considering both cores are @ 3.8GHz 100% usage for 12 hours.
- Cons: Supplied fan is weak and low CFM ~44CFM. Need dual fan mod to make it better than Tuniq Tower.
- Other Thoughts: Buy at least 1 additional 70CFM fan for best results. Use the 70CFM fan to push the air and the stock ~44CFM fan to pull through the cooler. This config is the most excellent BEST AIR COOLING TO DATE!
Just barely fits eVGA 680i
- Pros: This thing is very quiet compared to other high performance HSF's. One of the best HSF's for Intel applications.
- Cons: Huuuuuge. I knew it was pretty big comparing it to other HSF's measurements. But still, nothing prepares you for when you open the box.
- Other Thoughts: Mouted this on my eVGA 680i board. The very bottom edge of the silver tower on the HSF just touches the heatsink on the motherboard. I will probably get the dremel out and take a hair off the Scythe so it clears.

A Huge pain
- Pros: This cooler looks nice sitting on my shelf.
- Cons: This cooler is wretched to install. The plastic push pins are garbage and the design is such that it's just darn near impossible to get the cooler installed on an Asus p5k-deluxe in an Antec solo case. I HATE to give up, but I gave up on this thing. Now it sits on a shelf, looking cool but not actually cooling anything.
Excellent
- Pros: Keeps your CPU cool. e6700@3.8Ghz runs at 57C/59C while folding.
- Cons: VERY tall. I have a Thermaltake Armor case, and I had to modify the 25cm fan on the side door to make this fit. If they had used smaller nuts on the top of the cooler, it wouldn't be an issue.
great OC option
- Pros: Keeps my Q6600 at 40c 38c 39c 41c running at 3.6 1.368v 400x9 ambient ~75F. Fit on a P43 and a 680i.
- Cons: Doesn't come with 2 fans and/or the metal to hang a 2nd fan. Installation isn't a 'dream' per say, but overall its not that bad if you install it on your mobo before you screw the mobo in the case.
- Other Thoughts: Gets great reviews but I'm sure its just as good as the 9700 and 120 that everyone seems to rave about. I read a review somewhere that this cooler is one of the best out there if you lap it and run it with a 2x120mm fan setup.
