5 out of 5 eggsOnly one thing you must know

Comments: Amazing fan, the only "-" is that it really does work better with open case side...

5 out of 5 eggsit works!

Comments: Very easy to install, dropped my AMD 3000+ 10 degrees C. Besides that, it looks really pretty in my case window :P

3 out of 5 eggsGood fan, poor tolerances

Comments: I had some trouble installing this fan and couldn't get the clip to go onto the mobo socket clips. Finally realized after 10 minutes of frustration that the arms for the clip were rough and made to long. Rather than return the unit to Newegg I just went down to my shop and removed a bit of material with a sidegrinder with a flap disk and the problem was solved. If you don't at lease have a file to take off the rough edges from the bottom of the clip, beware of this fan.
Other than the installation problem, the fan works wonderfully, keeping my XP2100 much cooler than the stock heatsink, along with being MUCH MUCH quieter. I'm kicking myself that I didn't buy this years ago.

I ordered the non lighted version of this fan, but actually received the "blue led" version instead. Oh well, It is a more expensive fan but doesn't do much in a case w/out a window.
The only other gripe that I have is that the fan has to use the controller, and that takes up a slot cover, which I don't have the room. So the product gets 3 eggs for being a super cool and quiet fan, but looses 2 eggs for having to be modified to fit, and not being able to operate w/out the fan controller.

5 out of 5 eggsVery quiet!

Comments: This replaced some MassCool fan that sounded like a jet engine. I often had to put on music to drown it out!

This new fan is really, really quiet. At least half, if not, a third of the noise when compared to the old one! And the blue light is cool if you have a clear window case. It fits perfectly into my ASUS A7V8X-X board.

Highly, highly recommended, and at such a great price too. And just set the speed switch to "high." There is almost no extra noise at this setting.

Comments: At high setting it makes a faint whistle noise but still VERY quiet, temp dropped from 60c load to 50c load on lowest setting, would recommend to someone that has the a7v8x it fits perfectly :)

Comments: Very nice. Quiet on all settings. Medium setting keeps my CPU cooler 4C cooler than my previous, noisy Thermaltake fan.

Comments: This fan is awesome! Extremely quiet and keep my Athlon XP 2600+ at 44~45 C with only 1 case fan running. I can barely tell the noise different when it's on high or medium. Recommand for anyone who want to leave the system on and sleep well at the same time. Will def. buy any other fan product from Arctic cooling again. Thanks Newegg

5 out of 5 eggsGood CPU Cooler

Comments: pretty good cooler. i have it paired up with Arctic Silver 5 and its running very well. i have my extremly overclocked mobile 2400+ @ 2.6Ghz running at 48C idle. much better than my stock HSF. the blue LEDs are pretty cool too. hard to set up though. i smeared the paste all over the bottom of the heatsink but once its on it does miracles.

5 out of 5 eggsawesome

Comments: THis is a rockin' fan, it's cooling a paltry duron 1.3 ghz right now, but I love to have my computer on at night when I go to sleep to listen to net radio streams, so this thing is great 'cuz it's really, really quiet! Highly reccomended, and Newegg.com totally rocks, super fast delivery!
