4 out of 5 eggsquiet

Pros: Quiet but may not move much air, it's in a HTPC so sound trumped cooling, cheap

Cons: short cable

2 out of 5 eggsNot that great

Pros: -It's slightly better than no fan at all.

-It's quite.

Cons: -It's quite because the fan barely moves.

-It only pushes about half the air of most other similar priced 80mmfans.

-Spins on a standard brass bushing that is misleading called a "hydro bearing"

Other Thoughts: I bought 4 of these almost a year ago because I needed a fan for my hard drives (newegg got me with the bulk discount deal, you can never have too many spare fans lying around). Probelem I was looking at noise ratings rather than air ratings (cfm). With this fan conected directly to a power supply you can just barely feel the air on the back of your hand if you really really concentrate...

I suggest looking for something with more cfm and not worry about noise so much.

Another side note: newegg doesn't seem to list the bearing type on this one. If you do a little research or just order one and look at the back of the package it says it has "hydro bearings". Today, I got curious as to what exactly that meant and pulled one apart. it's a just brass bearing. Something that, as a kid I knew was junk compared to ball bearings.

5 out of 5 eggsI liked 'em

Pros: Some people complain about the amount of air these move, but for the price and silence of these fans, I am very happy. I ordered two.

Cons: zip

Other Thoughts: I also don't mind the color scheme. What is this complaining? Since when did computers become fashion items?

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet

Pros: Inexpensive, Quiet

Cons: No Pass-through for the power connection, which is to say you can't continue to power other devices after this one in serial.

Other Thoughts: Great Deal for the price, I purchased two of these, no problems with either
