5 out of 5 eggsJust what the doctor ordered

Pros: Bought one of these to help cool my LSI 9260 8i. It brings in outside air and blows it directly on the heatsink without any adjustments required. Takes up two expansion slots. Make sure your case is big enough.

Cons: Tech support said it isn't necessary

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what it says

Pros: It's a slot fan that TAKES IN AIR. There are only two commercially available, but the other is made by Lian Li and more than twice as expensive. Get one of these while you can.

The build quality is fair. It's all plastic but the changeable pieces interlock well and feel sturdy.

The fan has a 3-pin connector. You have to notch the plastic to run it out but this is good if you want your system to see that the fan is working.

Cons: The speed switch that comes with it doesn't have a discernible effect.

Other Thoughts: The blue glow is a bit obnoxious but the led wires can easily be snipped.

Lastly others have complained about the amount of air this moves or the fact that it takes up two slots. Because this is an intake it can't use a squirrel-cage fan like a typical blower, which means there's no way around these issues short of having an external blower.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it ?

Pros: Works great when it works. I have one that has worked for 5 years.

Cons: Second one died within months.

Other Thoughts: Intake of fresh air is best.

5 out of 5 eggsWORK HORSE!

Pros: Owned for over 3/4 years and it just now died. Best pocket change I ever spent!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: It just went out this month after many years, it outlasted its makers advertised life span. The LED still shines bright though lol just the fan motor died. I will be buying another one.

4 out of 5 eggsFairly Decent

Pros: Easy Installation
Great looking
Lowered temperature by 2-3 degrees C
Can switch the fan position to opposite direction

Cons: Loudest component on my rig on high setting. I really don't notice it too much, though. In the past I've used much louder computers.

Feels cheap. I don't have any trust in having this cooler working for more than a year.

Other Thoughts: My graphics card was running between 30-31 degrees C on idle. With this installed facing towards the bottom of my card (where the gpu fans are), my idle temperature dropped a few degrees. Considering I practically obtained this for free (not from Newegg! Sorry :P), I am happy with the performance.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for Older Cards!

Pros: This Cooler is Perfect for Older Graphics cars that you want to keep extra cool so it will last a long life! I have a nVidia 7800 GS AGP Desktop for old XP Games that loves this fan.

Cons: Intake below the fan gets dusty and clogs after about 60 days!

Other Thoughts: Here is a quick tip of your old GPU Fans still work. Put the speed on medium. Fast speed actually slowed the fan speed of my on-board fan!

I have purchased 2 of these. The first one lasted 4 years before I bought this second one. I was recently made aware on how to lubricate fan bearings, and fixed my old one. Now I have 2! Currently using to cool a 3DFX Voodoo 3 3000 AGP!

5 out of 5 eggsQuick, easy VGA cooler

Pros: Installs easily, and keeps the graphics card cool. Quiet enough to leave on high

Cons: Takes up 2 PCI slots in the process

Other Thoughts: I have 2 ASUS 8800GT video cards in 2 systems. The fans died within a month of each other. I bought one of these to cool one of them off, thinking of it as a temporary repair until I got a 'real' VGA cooler. The performance of this thing is excellent! It keeps the card cooler than the stock fan. The only problem is, if you have a mini size motherboard with one or two PCI slots, they're gone when you install this. Some people have said it's expandable, where do you get extensions?

5 out of 5 eggsAntec VGA Cooler

Pros: It does what it is supposed to do. Easy install and the threen speeds and blue led are nice.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I have read that people are complaining that it comes with no screws, seriously. You are suppose to use your screws that came with your case for your expansion slots, once you do this then it installs easier than a case fan. I am running a XFX GTS-250 Core Edition video card, and its temps have dropped 26 degrees, quite an improvment I say.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent GPU Cooler

Pros: I have an old MSI R4550 graphic card that has a huge heat sink with no fan (runs hot with 54 degrees). My last Mobo died due to heat issues resulting from a dead case fan. I was scared to use graphic card on my new system. After researching various models, I installed VCool fan right on top of GPU huge heat sink and it lowered my GPU temperature to 33 degrees from 54 degrees. In addition to lowering my GPU temperature, it also lowered my overall system temperature by 5 degrees. This is an excellent cooler for your GPU. I recommend strongly for folks having the similar issues.

Cons: None

3 out of 5 eggsSomewhat agrivating.

Pros: Blue LEDS, extendable, adjustable settings.

Cons: Mine came with no screws. is a bit noisy for people who a big on silence.

Other Thoughts: mine came with no screws. i bought mine from staples. i think i may have had better luck with newegg. No screws to srew it into expansion slot so its just kinda floating. maybe someone knows were i can by some screws. and there are better coolers out there. this really isnt for anything to the extreme.
