Good Cooler
- Pros: It does the job, I have a AMD 5600+ and was running around 55-60 C on stock cooler, now using this running around 45-52 C
- Cons: Think was a major pain to hook up, cut myself on the fins so watch out.
- Other Thoughts: Even tho it was a pain hooking up and isnt the coolest cooler, its still great cooler, plus very cheap
WOW! best i could see for the money
- Pros: quiet. works great! i use with a AMD QUAD, in place of a stock cooler! well worth the money and cheaper than a stock at the time of purchase!
- Cons: i can't think of any.... oh didn't have free shipping!
Nice little cooler, PERFECT for Mini ITX installs
- Pros: Great little heatsink, looks like a Zalman when you're installing it. The mounting bracket is super easy to install, and mounting the heatsink to the bracket is fairly easy as well. Much less painful than your average Zalman, sadly enough. Fairly quiet if you trim it down to >10vdc, but even @ the full 12vdc it's not bad.
- Cons: The cooling power is ok for most CPUs, but don't expect to keep a 95w TDP processor happy, especially if you're dealing with a quad-core. For 65w TDP and lower, you should be fine, IMHO. Also, this does *not* come with a speed controller, so you either have to roll your own (which is simple) or buy one separately.
- Other Thoughts: Used this in a Lian-Li PC-Q07 Mini-ITX case (which is awesome) and there was plenty of room for the PSU and this heatsink/fan. Again, don't expect to keep your high-end procs happy, but anything outside of that and you should be fine.
PS - Minus 1 egg for cooling power & no speed controller. ;p
