Creative Insire T5400
- Pros: Most bang for the buck for any 5.1 system in this price range. Match these bad boys up with a Creative Audigy sound card and you will smile all the time.
- Cons: None so far............
- Other Thoughts: My new build with Asus mo/bo came with eight channel onboard chip, but these speakers and added sound card stole the show. I was amazed at the difference good speakers and a added sound card would make.. Buy them!!!!!
Tried and proven to be:
- Pros: Excelent value and high quility.
- Cons: Lack of Digital input for aux.
- Other Thoughts: I got this system to use with both a computer and HD LCD TV. This system will only power front speakers with the Aux. input, however the sound quility is very good along with great bass. The LCD TV without this add on is dead in the water. The 5400 is awesome used with the computer.

PS..........I ordered on Monday and shipment arrived on Wed. Thanks to Newegg.com and UPS
I'm not so sure anymore
- Pros: -Very inexpensive for 5.1
-Nice metal stands, gave them a higher-quality feel -2-way speaker design adds solid highs to the mix -16' of rear speaker cable covers you adequately
- Cons: The sub is already dying on me. I'm really upset that I'll have to RMA these; I spent most of the day saturday mounting the satellites, heh. The sub fades in and out, and muddies up the mix. Theres a green LED in the wired remote, and it keeps dimming and eventually goes off. I've tried numerous receptacles in my home, and the same thing occurs, so the power is there: its just the sub giving out on me.
- Other Thoughts: I've done pro audio for local concerts for just about any type of music someone could like.AZ I work with expensive equipment, and I can say that these are very nice for the price. Again, I'm really bummed that I have to go through the whole RMA process. Creative has pretty good support, though.
