2 out of 5 eggsGet what ya pay for

Pros: They are cheap and they work alright for basic desktop sound.

Cons: You can't adjust the volume when the head phones are plugged in!!! That is REALLY stupid!!! I like to watch movies on my computer and it's disruptive to the rest of the family for my speakers to be on. So I plug in the headphones and you CAN'T adjust the darn volume. I'm so frustrated with this ridiculous design that I intend to sell these and get a different product.

5 out of 5 eggsLogitech S-220

Pros: Good sound
Easy set up
Nice control pod

Cons: For the price, are you kidding?
Zero cons

Other Thoughts: For a low priced, 2.1 speaker system, these sound pretty good, in fact they sound better after they have been used for awhile. I remember when I first got them, they didn't sound very full, but now after using them for over a month, they sound better!
If you are looking for a good, 2.1 PC speaker set up, get these, you will like them!

3 out of 5 eggsnot bad... not outstanding

Pros: These things blast really well. I just use them for casual gaming. I sometimes play music through them.

Cons: I've owned them for over 2 years and ever since I've had them that i can remember the remote makes the left speaker cut out. If I apply pressure to the remote it will come back on. There is obviously a short somewhere.

Other Thoughts: These speakers are pretty decent especially for the price. Don't be mad if you get duds as you get what you pay for. I would buy them again.

5 out of 5 eggsNewegg is great

Pros: When I got them and plugged them in, they worked perfect! I was really satisfied with the level of bass this small sub produced and the quality is amazing. No problems setting up at all. The price is unbeatable for these amazing speakers, best price to performance ratio I've ever seen!

Cons: They are a bit light weight so they tip quite easy, and the control pod is way to light and just slides due to the cord weight. That aside the only real problem I have is that you cant change the volume with headphones plugged in, which I thought was really strange... but oh well

Other Thoughts: Would have been nice to get Velcro with the set so I could use them on pod and speakers but I'll just get some myself.

5 out of 5 eggsGood sound

Pros: Low price, reasonable sound.... basically tremendous value for money. Excellent for small room, home office, garage use.

Cons: awkward wiring configuration makes speakers susceptible to being knocked about. Limited volume range... don't expect to crank them up.

Other Thoughts: The best budget speakers with which I have had any experience. I have one set in bedroom, one in home office and one in garage. No problems with any of them.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat speakers!

Pros: Excellent speakers with great bass. I actually was not expecting them to be as good as they turned out to be!

If you're looking for decent speakers for a lower budget price, these are a must.

Cons: None.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: none

Cons: terrible sound... fuzzy noise.. im not sure if it can connect to laptop but not working as i tried..

Other Thoughts: i dont know if i want to say it produces sounds but more like noise and bunch of fuzzy sounds.
i mean i was expecting the sound quality of 25 bucks but... this is way worse than the sound i had in mind. i rather pay extra for something that does the speakers job..

5 out of 5 eggsThis little guy pumps out sound

Pros: I bought this to go with my AirPort express downstairs and it definitely performs well. The only static i felt like I got was when skrillex somehow made it onto my playlist. I would imagine playing a fax machine through these speakers would also make them have static.

Cons: Doesn't like skrillex. (most people don't)

Other Thoughts: Great minimalist speakers with a bass that can create thunder.

3 out of 5 eggsnot bad for price

Pros: Cheap 2.1 speakers with headset plug in. Great price for sound you do get.

Cons: no way to really use the fullness of a Good sound card just one jack running the full speakers. Wish they had a sub line then the normal 2 way speakers.
