A patented dual-chamber 6.5-inch subwoofer enhances your games, music, and movies with deep, powerful bass. Each of the four satellites and the center-channel speaker feature a unique driver design that places a tweeter at the center of a larger mid-range driver. The result is a smooth combination of sounds with the fullness of a much larger speaker.
The Digital SoundTouch Control Center acts as an amplifier, a control panel for adjusting volume and sound qualities, and is the wireless transmitter for the rear surrounds. The two wireless speakers do need to be plugged into a standard wall outlet for power, but are otherwise cable-free. Setup is simplified because Logitech pairs the speakers to the Control Center at the factory.

- Pros: Rear speakers work excellent for wireless!! I was somewhat nevervous that my xbox360 wireless controllers wouldn't work since they also run on 2.4ghz and I had heard of peoples phones not working because of this, but it worked just fine! Bass is nice a crisp, isn't as big as the z-5500 series but still puts out plenty of bass! Receiver very compact design, well thought out!

- Other Thoughts: For the price that newegg is asking for this set it is well worth the money. I wanted something that would work with my computer, TV, xbox360, ipod, etc. This product really came through. Beats spending a thousand dollars on a home theater set with a receiver. For a college student with minimal space and budget perfect!!
Amazing!
- Pros: These speakesrs use actual AUDIO Cables instead of those stupid 3.5mm ones that are found on lower-end systems. These speakers are amazingly clear, crisp, and power. The sub is very managable since it can go everything from shack the house from its foundation to be barely noticable. The Wireless speakers in the back are great and mine dont have a hiss at all even when I put them up to my ear to listen.
- Cons: Although the wireless speakers are great in terms of sound production, each speaker requires its own outlet which was a bit hard to come up with. I ended up using an extension cord which sorta takes away from the wireless part since they could have just run audio cables and eliminated the power plugs.
- Other Thoughts: Awsome speakers, but the Sub is large to make room for it. That and you need a good sound card to get great sound. If the back speakers dont work or hiss, either get rid of all your other wireless items or simply get another set of speakers that dont use a wireless sigal.

AMAZING!!
- Pros: Amazing speakers, worked great out of the box. Super easy to set up, and uses REAL speaker cable.
- Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: I have mine wall mounted, and I think that it produces better sound quality that way.
Stay Away!
- Pros: In theory, these should be good speakers.
- Cons: The subwoofer was DOA for the first shipment. The subwoofer in the second shipment produced a very loud scratching noise out of the center channel. I bought these speakers to replace my Z-680s..after that subwoofer blew as well. Stay away!
Impressively surprised
- Pros: Works better than a $1,000 home theatre system I had before. Just watched Pulp Fiction DVD with DTS surround sound. Absolutely great. The control center looks a lot better out of the box than it does in the picture. The volume knob has a great feel. Plenty of inputs. VERY easy to set up. No bugs, no noise at all from rear speaker.
- Cons: Can't think of any.
- Other Thoughts: I used the Soundvision Home Theatre Tune-up DVD to adjust audio levels. This improved the sound quite a bit.
