4 out of 5 eggsGood mic for cheap price.

Pros: Cheap
Does its job

Cons: Quiet

Other Thoughts: So it's a good price at 11 bucks. Certainly a lot cheaper than other alternatives. Audio quality sounds fine according to people I have spoken to through this mic.

Just boost up mic audio through window setttings and you should be fine.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap quality MIC

Pros: Does what it says it should and allows for clear voice audio to other people.

Cons: Seller uses USPS and they don't treat packages the nicest, that and we tend to always have issues with USPS heck they once lost an entire laptop we ordered :/

I was tempted to dock an egg for this especially since USPS tried to send the item back without even attempting to contact me, had to send them an angry support letter; that being said i understand shipping choices on smaller items are well limited.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Honestly, I didn't expect much, the only reason I got this mic was because of my Razor Carcharus headset, audio is great on it, comfy and all, but the mic sucked. Wasn't shielded and something else, but I can't remember exactly what. End result, a microphone that you had to pretty much scream into and it also happened to pick up whatever is being played through the headset and better than the voice. So I got this and it works great. It actually might be a little too sensitive, as in, it now picks up my dog farting in the other room, but now i don't have to scream for my friends to hear me. It's great that it comes with clips to clip it to another cable, which is exactly what i did.

Cons: Not many to be honest. It's really sensitive, but that's the point. My computer needs a new sound card (on it's way now) to get rid of some static (not the mics fault, it's speak static). The clips on the cable are great, but it'd be nice if you could move them around the cable to make certain areas more secure than others. Also, if the clip on the mic it'self was bigger, I could have put on my headsets mic (which doesn't work), but I'm not taking an egg because of that.

Other Thoughts: It's a great little mic, and so sensitive, you can hear a microwave go off several rooms away. Small enough that you can take it in the field to record things on a laptop, and not have to worry about space. Also, if you have a loud keyboard (mechanical), than this will definitely pick up the keystrokes.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It works well and it's cheap so when your cat eats the wire you can just buy a new one and it won't burn a hole in your wallet

Cons: Cat still eats wire

Other Thoughts: This is my suffering

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little mic

Pros: Clips on head phone cord or shirt. Small minimal. Very clear mic with not strange background noises. Voice activation in different programs pick up very well with this mic. Have had three, 2 on zalman headphones and this stand alone, all the same all still work great.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: Great gaming/voip mic, often better than microphone included on some headsets.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor sensitivity

Pros: - Long cable

Cons: - Low sensitivity
- Clip will only work on cables that are not too thin and not too thick

Other Thoughts: My friend has this microphone and I have heard him use it and I've used it myself, and his worked fine on his computer. After my headset broke, I got this microphone with some headphones. For me, on my computer, this microphone has very poor sensitivity. It picks up and sounds incredibly clear if the microphone is right in front of my mouth (about an inch from my lips) and pointed directly at my mouth. Otherwise, it barely picks up my voice, if at all, with the mic levels set to 100 for the microphone and 0 mic boost in the Windows sound panel properties for this device. I had to go into the microphone settings and set boost to +20db to get my voice to be audible (even +10db is still too quiet). However, in doing this, there is a fair amount of static in the background. It is not unusable for just chatting with my friends while playing video games. However, doing voice recording for anything else would require a better microphone.

I have Googled a lot and asked lots of people for any help, but I have found nobody with an answer to my problem. Messing around with the microphone settings does nothing to improve it. I have an ASRock Extreme4 B3 motherboard, which uses "Realtek ALC892 High Definition Audio", for anyone wondering.

I think the only way to *maybe* fix my problem is to buy a sound card, rather than use the onboard audio. One day I will try that, and hopefully it will fix it.

5 out of 5 eggsGood mic

Pros: Picks up your voice very clean and clear. The clip slips on snuggly to my Sennheiser HD 555 headphones.

Cons: Two cords, headphone and mic cords. Cords get tangled over time.

Other Thoughts: Be careful not to run over cord with your chair.

5 out of 5 eggsA great solution for those who don't want to use a headset

Pros: -- Sounds better then most $30 headsets at best buy
-- The clip is very well suited for what it does (it goes on your headphone cable, NOT your shirt)

Cons: -- The cord is extremely fragile.
-- The "knub" on the jack is completely unnecessary and can interfere with wider terminators adjacent to it on your sound card.
-- The clip is inflexible

Other Thoughts: I have a couple very expensive headphones and thus did not want to compromise audio quality with a headset. This solution is perfect. People on vent thought the mic was much clearer then my $40 cheapo headset. The clip is the perfect width for my HD600s and SR325i's.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks on the cheap

Pros: It's cheap and it works. I've owned two. I had to replace my first after I got it wet. New one came and works just as well as the other one. Never had any issues. I just clip it onto my Beyerdynamics DT770 Pro's and TeamSpeak works perfectly.

Cons: Isn't!

Other Thoughts: I'll continue to by this product!
