Don't use with Realtek audio!
- Pros: Speakers themselves sound pretty good. Satellites are clear, and subwoofer delivers quite a punch.
- Cons: Unlike other speaker setups, the subwoofer on this only takes input from the subwoofer output. The satellites themselves are worthless below about 150 Hz, so unless your sound card offers its own bass management/bass redirection/lfe crossover, you won't get any use of the sub except for media players that explicitly use it.
Do not buy this if you are planning to use this with your Realtek-based onboard sound. Realtek's drivers generally do not provide an option to do bass redirection, so without media player-based intervention, your sound will be tinny, and your sub will just be an inert black box with a blue light on it.
- Other Thoughts: I was disappointed in the lack of mention of this crossover issue in any of the specs provided by newegg. At this point, I am wavering between returning the speakers and sucking it up and buying a separate sound card that supports bass redirect. If you have a good sound card--great. If you have onboard sound, beware.

- Other Thoughts: I bought this specifically because I was going to a sort of 'competition' with a few buddies of mine. We hooked this up for sound, my HD screen, PS3 and Modern Warfare 2. This muffled out everybody around us and the game sounded spectacular! Every single gamer down there was impressed! So don't just trust me, trust about 10 people that agree as well! I love this company and will purchase from them in the future.
