- Pros: ummm well, its pretty quick in basic use and it looks neat. thats about it on the plus side
- Cons: I have had never-ending problems with this OS, just about everything does not support x64 edition of Pro. I was required to find home-made drivers for it. and as you may know, they're not exactly reliable.
- Other Thoughts: I am upgrading to XP Pro and if I had some extra advice to give, if you want a 64 bit OS just download a Vista Beta and stick with regular MS XP Pro.
- Pros: Overall fairly well built, and not too hard to find drivers from vendors.
- Cons: certain video codecs will not work, no matter what you try...otherwise no problems.
- Other Thoughts: I just hope Vista works wbetter, mainly because both AMD and Intel are going to be selling mostly just 64-bit processors for next-gen OS's, and well, if they don't, maybe it'll be time to switch to OSX
Great
- Pros: Its fast, I get better performance out of games, most companies support x64 architecture. Pretty much any 32bit applications will run on this unless its drivers.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: I have been using this O.S. since beta stages I really like it.
