Rating: 5/5Very nice for the price
Pros: Very inexpensive upgrade to wireless N for older laptops. Not as bulky as most USB adapters Able to receive 270 Mbps with a WRT300N router Takes older laptops beyond the USB1 wireless limitations.
Cons: I received 2 different versions, v1000 and v1011, I've read in previous reviews that there are other newer versions being shipped out. Both versions I received are working great for me but be aware that others seem to have had problems with the older versions, at the cost of these it's worth the gamble, extra work and research to get them up and running. I've read that these cards are limited when setting up Wireless Security, I've got them set up to run WPA2 Personal and they haven't been a problem. I'm not real impressed with the Belkin software, it works, but doesn't seem to work as smoothly or as fast as the software I was using for the USB adapters I bought from Newegg a year ago.
Other Thoughts: I was looking for better than 11Mbps (USB1 limitation) on an old P3, with Windows 2000 Pro, that I own and ran across this card. I decided to take the gamble and buy 2, one for the P3 and one for a P4, with Windows XP Pro that was able to maintain a decent 54 Mbps with it's USB2. It did take some research, time, effort and patience to get these cards setup but the reward was 270Mbps on both laptops with very few drops, good enough for the wife to do her Facebook thing on the P3 and smooth streaming video on the P4 from sites like Hulu and Netflix. I'm so impressed that I've been thinking about buying a few more to have around for guests so I don't have to include their individual MAC addresses in my routers MAC filter. This card does stick out anywhere from 1.25 to 1.5 inches, which is typical of older card, but that's small compared to most of the USB dongles and a lot nicer than being hooked up by a USB or Ethernet cable. I don't think it's a con at all.

Pros: Least expensive wireless N card I could find online for my older laptop. Excellent buy. Connects with my Linksys router with no problem and holds a strong signal.
Cons: Sticks out of laptop a bit more than I would like.

Rating: 5/5win 7 friendly!
Pros: A cardbus interfaced network card that is win 7 friendly and really inexpensive (both were huge in my book)!
Cons: Sticks out a bit from the laptop, no big deal though.
Other Thoughts: I purchased one of these about two months ago for my wife's old Dell Inspiron 6000 as Windows 7 didn't like her built-in Intel Pro2200G very much. I knew that I could get a usb wireless adapter but neither she nor I liked that idea very much. I was skeptical that I would be able to find a cardbus network card that was fully supported by 7 until I found this puppy. The fact that it was _very_ inexpensive didn't hurt one bit. On a whim, I tried it out on our very old HP Pavilion ze4300 with XP sp3 and it worked as well! In fact, it worked better than any other network card I've thrown in it. Because of that I just got done ordering another one.
For those of you a little hesitant to buy a belkin product, rest easy; this one really is a good buy!

Rating: 4/5great card
Pros: Cheap, works well, connects my old laptop to the internet without using an ethernet cable.
Cons: Sticks out of the laptop quite a bit, seems less sturdy than other cards I've seen and used, occasionally drops network connection
Other Thoughts: Bought this card for an old laptop I have Ubuntu 9.10 running on. Plugged the card in and it started working, no questions asked. I don't have a N network but the card connects to my wireless network without a hitch and hits speeds as fast as my wired desktops. I would have given it 5 eggs but it has dropped out on me a couple of times. All I had to do was pull the card out and plug it back in again and it worked fine.

Cons: non so far.
Other Thoughts: tested with ubuntu. The farther you go the slower but it goes a great distance.
