Cons: They misrepresent (and admit misrepresenting) the product input frequency. It's completely incompatible with mechanically-governed generators, even under conditions other UPSes are good with. Their support team all takes long breaks so during business hours can be impossible to reach.
Other Thoughts: If you need a UPS but no generator support, this is a fine, but expensive, unit. If you need it to work on a generator, avoid this company entirely.

Pros: Long life, useful LEDs, lots of outlets
Cons: Not tolerant of off-frequency power
Other Thoughts: The PowerCom SMK-1500A is billed as being able to clean up power. In reality it has a very tiny "window" for the power frequency, which makes it unsuitable for generator use. However it has an amazing capacity.

Comments: I got this UPS expecting to get long back up time, and it actually provides long back up time (about 10 minutes at 48% load, plenty of time to log out of WoW and shut down safely), and as always the price from newegg is unbeatable. Since the smart king case is white, it look nice next to my tower case, which is also white... There are 6 outlets, and I plug the computer, modem, monitor, table light and a moderate desktop fan. I had a laser printer plugged in, but when the printer starts to do anything the unit would beep like crazy and shut down, so I disconnected the printer. Then I found out from the manual that I'm not supppose connect printers so :P It is a little heavy, but that is expected for a UPS!
