1 out of 5 eggsGood but never again

Pros: Nice features, lightweight, inexpensive

Cons: -Recording button on the side makes it too easy to accidentally start a recording...and Stop your music/video.
-Hard to get songs on there to show up sometimes
-Lack of good playlist feature

Other Thoughts: I have also had problems with the headphone port...now it only outputs to the right ear and i bought new headphones only to find out that the mp3 player is whats wrong.
In other words,I would NOT recommend buying this. but read what others say and make your own decision

3 out of 5 eggsIt's ok

Pros: I'm not that much understanding on the programming, but finally got it working good. The buttons stick and it's somewhat a problem

Cons: not really

Other Thoughts: I'd buy it again!!

2 out of 5 eggsDied after 8 months

Pros: It was a fine little player, nice and compact.

Cons: Exactly eight months after I bought it, it suddenly stopped working. I'd expect an mp3 player to have a longer life than eight months! I never dropped it or got it wet or did anything to damage it. There's apparently no manufacturer warranty, so I'm out of luck. I can't say I have a favorable opinion of Sansa after this experience.

5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: This little guy plays music, DUH, but it plays it well, is pretty user friendly, I would buy 10more if I had a reason to. I bought one for my mom and she uses it all the time. Way better than that POPULAR brand everyone thinks of getting. Great batt life, good sound, drag and drop makes it easy to use, expanable from the 4gigs that it already is.

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggsNano Substitue

Pros: Cost effective. Works with WMP or drag-and-drop which is why I'll NEVER buy an iPod. Auto-turn off after inactivity is definitely a plus on battery saving.

Cons: Scroll-wheel LED is insanely bright, especially at night. It's the volume knob as well, which frequently get scrolled while they're in my jeans pocket and I'm walking. NO sleep timer!?!

Other Thoughts: I've dropped this at least 10x by standing up while it was on my lap and it's still running like a champ. This has also caused the cheap headphones' insulation on the wires to pull away. Just use duct tape. I've never used the record feature.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Player at a discount price

Pros: Great player, loads fast and easy to drag and drop music to.

Cons: No SDHC support without a hack.

Other Thoughts: I have purchased many SanDisk MP3 players in the past, and they have always gotten better with each iteration. The e260 stays true to that.

4 out of 5 eggsDoesn't last forever

Pros: Simple interface, long battery life, decent sound quality, plenty of storage for what I need. Scroll wheel is fairly sensitive once you get it going. Micro SD card slot is a big plus. It's also very easy to navigate.

Cons: Not the longest lasting piece of electronic equipment I've ever owned. I bought this player when my last sansa bit it. This little baby just quit on me too after about a year of use. I had it going 3-4 times a week for several hours at a time at work. It now freezes all the time and I'm unable to add files to the sansa's memory, though I can still write to the micro SD card. I've tried reformatting the thing to no avail. It also scratches fairly easily. Also, it could use a clip in addition to the lanyard attachment.

Other Thoughts: Compared to cheap ear buds, the ones that came with this are pretty good sound-wise, though not the most comfortable and certainly not the best on the market. It was fairly easy to set up a play list but I wish it had allowed more than one. Also, it didn't come with much by the way of instructions. Overall I'd say it's a decent player, but don't plan on having it forever.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet

Pros: Awesome product easy to use. The software for updates is rather nifty and makes applying updates a snap. middle button does get a little loose as any button made like this would but seems hardy enough. The blue circle is diffirent from the two diffirent models i have bought one had lots of small nubs while the other has larger ones in small groups I like the small consistent one best myself. I have not worked much with playlists on the device. I did use winamp to sync with the device but on anything other then windows media center i had to set it as a usb device else winamp would crash. Odd must be a windows issue with no driver support both on XP and Vista. Sync was a fail before the new firmware saving the settings of the usb mode as it would reset everytime. after update it is awesome. Wife loves hers I love mine i do happen to bump it with dumbbells in the gym often but i simply need to get it out of my pocket to solve this problem.

Cons: the navigation system could be better and the wheel could have been made to supooirt more controls. the center button could have been directional which would prevent the 4 other buttons around the wheel.

Other Thoughts: Lots of though went into the design of this little guy and were I to vest more time into a play list and getting things to play the way I want. I have read you can apply a different O/s to this device for more features i really have not had the time but it really does not yet work on vista so it is a bit hard to do this as of yet. (the rock box does not work on vista)
