Pros: It does what I bought it for. I use it for listening to mp3s of my ripped CDs, history lectures and talk radio while I exercise (walk) or work around the house. It works as advertised and has good battery life. Good price and good newegg service.
Cons: Sansa operating system can handle only a limited amount of expanded memory--had to install Rockbox to use my 4GB and 8GB SDHC cards. The included earphones are not worth fooling with.
Other Thoughts: Overall a good purchase that meets my needs.

Pros: Great sound, with Music equalizer,great thumb wheel, has built in recorder and fm radio. this with some jvc marshmallow headphones are just amazing.
Cons: so far, each time i try to use the fm radio i get almost no reception.. recording has buzzing sound.. might just be my player.
Other Thoughts: got it for 20 bucks somewhere else. newegg is still a better experience. considering the first one i got was nonfunctional

Pros: Considering that it's a recertified Sansa e260, you can't beat the price from Newegg. I have two Sansa e260v1 players and the 260v2 player has some nice tweaks, although subtle. It's a great player for the price.
Cons: Why would I buy three Sansa e260s?
