Pros: Without a doubt, it's the best player for under $50 money can buy. With Rockbox it really works perfectly and the amount of control over the audio is really impressive. It has a decent enough screen also.
Cons: HORRIBLE with stock firmware, really annoying and stupid software that doesn't let you control the device as well as Rockbox does. I really hated this thing for a long time until I installed Rockbox..so unless you are up to the "challenge" of getting Rockbox on here, go for something else.
- It's not an Ipod quality device but it's perhaps the next best thing, I would say.
Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a simple cheap mp3 player, this is ABSOLUTELY the model to buy! It is perfect for Rockbox software and was worth every single dollar I paid for it in terms of the usability, features, and dependability. It is the next best thing to a $100+ I-pod. I have a Google Nexus One now and I actually feel sad giving away the Sansa to a friend.. GO FOR IT!

Pros: I've had mine almost 2 years, and it's continued to deliver high quality music. I got mine at a local computer store.
Cons: Scroll wheel and buttons sometimes become erratic. When this happens I blow compressed air into the player - its cleared things up every time so far.

Pros: I bought two of these one perfect the other not so perfect, nice screen, good size, ear phones good, excellent battery life, nice radio
Cons: software not great if you get one with the old software it has on and off issues....30 $ price was great unless you need to rma it will cost you more than half the price of the original one to replace it and you could get another bad one, not worth returning I'll take my loses
Other Thoughts: new egg should cover shipping exspenses on returning a defective product when I buy a product from a company I expect it to be a good working item not have to risk it and pay more cost to get a good one after paying the selling price
