Pros: Awesome sound.
Got it for low price.
Somewhat decent battery life.

Cons: Random freezes when playing.
Died after a little over a month, right after RMA was over for newegg. Device goes to white screen and resets do not help. Support had been unhelpful.

Other Thoughts: Buy ipod/zune/something else but not this.

Pros: Practically brand new, in great shape. There were hardly any physical scratches or scuffs on this mp3 player. Dirt cheap, cost less than 50% of the retail price. Very easy to use. Click and drag music onto mp3 player without having to use any software or file converting. AM/FM works nicely. Being able to record the radio is a nice feature also.

Cons: scrolling! Having to scroll through tons of music just to get to where you want. Only if there were some kind of search function, that would be nice.

The mp3 player crashes and reboots if I open winamp while its plugged into my PC. I use winamp to tag my music files. For some reason the mp3 player conflicts with winamp music program.

But no biggie, I simply tag my files before plugging in the mp3 player.

Other Thoughts: I jumped on this very quickly because it was a shell shocker sale. I didnt realized i bought a refurbished until it was already paid for. I been eyeballing sansa mp3 players for awhile. And this one was just too good of a price. Everything worked out well in the end.

With refurbished items, its sorta hit or miss. Im glad mine works flawlessly. I've had mine for a couple months now and absolutely no issues.

Seemed like a good deal, but.......

Pros: The video playback capability is great. I loaded some music videos using the sansa media converter and easily played them back on a 32 inch LCD flat panel TV. I got the video-out cables from the internet. The picture quality was very good. I was excited!

Cons: After a few days the Sansa View stopped being recognized by my computer. I consulted the Sandisk forums for the View and determined that I had the "black circle of death" failure and would need to return the unit. Other reviews had warned of the poor quality of the View as a refurbished item, but the price induced me to try it.

Other Thoughts: I am returning the View for a replacement since I really like its video capabilities. I am hoping the second time around will be better. But the price is seeming less attractive as I have to pay the return shipping and spend the time to repack the View and get it shipped. I will update my evaluation of the View when I get my replacement.
