Great For those Linux Users
- Pros: Works great with *nix, uses both MP3 and WMA. Good volume levels, I like how the directory system is set up, I was able to ssh into the computer it was connected to, upload and save files to it, remotely. Recharges pretty fast, battery last 8-10 hours.
- Cons: You can only use .avi for video and RAW for photos. the input cord is only a foot long, poor headphones, the USB cord could be longer.
- Other Thoughts: Not much else to add, its a great product over all.
The Best MP3 Player Out There!
- Pros: It works well even with a ten year old imac running debian linux. That says a lot for compatability.
- Cons: It uses a proprietary raw format to display images and and some other proprietary format to display video. The encoding tool only works with windows.
- Other Thoughts: The power adapter is compatible with my Motorola RAZR V3, and my RAZR's power adapter is compatible with my Super Talent MP3 Player so I get charge it without having to turn on my computer. You can pick up a Motorola RAZR V3 power adapter fairly cheap at on a number of web sites, usually for under ten bucks.
Almost a nano
- Pros: Price for one, Screen is nice, plays video and mp3/wma, recording, and 2 gigs. Very nice player.
- Cons: The only thing i would have to say is if you use the wrong firmware upgrade u may not have a screen that works anymore..lol. But just use the other upgrade and it will be all good again. Little difficlut using it the first day or two, but very easy after that.
- Other Thoughts: Converter deals are a little pestering, but no reason not to buy this.
