2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: price may be cheap and size is small.

Cons: Head phone jack is becoming loosen shortly and it becomes real annoying when you want to walk and use it. Sometime it works on one side, and some position work for both sides. Had tried various headphone and the problem boils back to the Super Talent. Not worth to buy it even cheap.

Other Thoughts: Probably what one pay is what one get but yet a small price item of head phone jack can affect the overall quality. Manufacturer should take this to heart and learn from buyers' misfortune.

4 out of 5 eggsUpdate

Pros: This is an update.....

Cons: After owning it for 2 months the headphone jack isn't working right anymore. The connection internally has become loose. I've started the warranty process today with the manufacturer. Wish me luck.

Other Thoughts: I still believe this is a very good mp3 player for the price. If the manufacturer repairs/replaces it quickly I will stand by their product.

4 out of 5 eggsPleased

Pros: This is my 1st portable mp3 player so my experience is limited.

With that said I'm pretty impressed. The screen is bright, the text is clear & navigation is a breeze.

I wasn't looking for huge storage so 2 gigs/400+ songs is plenty for me.

The FM feature is an added bonus and works great. I don't use the video feature so I can't comment on that.

Sound quality is surprisingly good using the preset EQ settings, but a custom setting would be nice.

File transfer is easy. I tried both Musicmatch & drag/drop which both worked flawlessly, but not as fast as I would have liked.

Cons: The only "con" I noticed is the buttons seem a bit flimsy. Don't get me wrong, they work as advertised. I just think it's a design that can be improved upon.

Other Thoughts: I was looking for an inexpensive mp3 player with at least 1GB of storage, that had good sound, easy to navigate & came in a small package. This does all that & then some.

5 out of 5 eggsGood price for the features

Pros: A 2 gb player for under $100! What a steal. The player is easy to use, user friendly, and doesn't take much time playing with it to figure it out. The manual is poorly written. Interfaces with windows media player nicely or you can cut and paste files similar to a USB flash drive. I like being able to store pictures and movies. The FM picks up stations pretty decent but I mostly listen to MP3's

Cons: After 3 months I had difficulty turning the player on. Contacted Supre talent who RMA'ed it with no problems. The earbuds are uncomfortable. I went out and purchased more comfortable Sony earbuds. Better sound quality and more comfortable to wear. No accessories for it like IPODs. A case would benice to protect it.

5 out of 5 eggslove this player

Pros: low price and high storage attracted me to this player,i didnt want an apple product and i came across this player in new egg's recently added items.i primarily use this player for podcasts but music volume and quality are very good but i have no referce point to compare to i dont know how it compares to an ipod or zen player.file structure, once learned is logical and intuitive so i have no problems accessing my files or in creating a hierarchy to organize,a good value for the money in my humble opinion.i am very satisfied.

Cons: can only be recharged thru your usb2 computer connection,a charge lasts about 12-15 hours.would be nice to recharge via ac.
