decent, basic ipod functions
- Pros: The sound is clock radio decent. Works okay with my two Ipod Classics. Easy to setup. I was surprised at the radio reception (in a good way, probably due to the permanently attached antenna wire) since the old clock radio I was using had terrible reception . The alarm starts softly and builds to a peak then changes pattern
- Cons: You need to download the user manual to find out how all the features work. Only a quick start guide with the most basic information is included in the box. Ipod function is *very basic*.
- Other Thoughts: You will need the white insert that comes with your Ipod, a set of inserts isn't provided. I haven't used the shaker.
Very nice, does what it should
- Pros: Speaker quality is pretty good, not fantastic.. but it's an alarm clock. It was easy to set up basic functions. It will play the Pandora App through the speakers, wasn't expecting that, very nice. It's small and clean looking, not clunky and in the way. Holds ipod touch very securely, not worried about cats knocking it over.
- Cons: None at the moment.
- Other Thoughts: Literally just unwrapped it, will add once used as alarm and bed shaker. Of course, Newegg shipped it out fast. Kind of irritated that if i would have waited until today, i would have saved an additional 8 bucks... oh well.

Was a "Shell Shocker" steal of a deal!
- Pros: Though it's not mentioned in description, or on the box, works just fine with my iPhone 3G. Cost was much more affordable than most other similar products of this type.
- Cons: Wish power cord was a little longer, and had a remote control, but can't expect more for such a low price.
- Other Thoughts: (I should have bought 3 of em!)
Good dock for cheap
- Pros: Speakers work, charges iPod, two alarms, radio, compact. It's not much bigger than my standard alarm clock. For the $21 I spent, I couldn't find cheaper. I think Wal-Mart's cheapest one was $60 last time I looked. I almost didn't buy it, but it dropped $10 at the last second. I have an Athena iVoice I got at work really cheap, now they're more than five times what I paid or I would have gotten it again. This doesn't sound as good, but it'll give me my computer speakers back so I can listen to my iPod in bed. Auxillary input is nice.
- Cons: Not getting shaker to work. No biggie, it's not really necessary. Alarm is really quiet and I'm a hard sleeper. I just set radio first, and alarm second.
- Other Thoughts: Has manual, unlike other reviews. I didn't really need it, the iLuv is easy enough to figure out most operations, I had it all set before I looked for the manual.
One reviewer said their neighbor wakes them up. He must be a light sleeper, because this thing isn't the strongest alarm. I can't get the shaker to work, but I bet it's fairly weak, maybe like an XBox remote.
NewEgg surprised me on shipping. I bought it Monday, and received it in Montana on Friday. The shipping box looked like someone tried to play keep-away and hacky sack with it, but nothing was broken and the product box was fine.

- Other Thoughts: I recently got an iPod touch and needed a new alarm clock anyway so I figured I'd get one that can charge my iPod. :) This fit the bill as one of the cheaper options. For the price, I'm happy with it.
