Belkin's ingenious TuneTalk lets you record voice memos, lectures, and interviews, directly to your compatible iPod. Two omni-directional microphones record voices, music, or anything else you need in CD-quality stereo sound, and real-time adjustable gain lets you optimize for changing sound levels. You can play them back through your iPod or computer later, for transcription.
The unit also includes an external microphone adaptor, in case you want to record something at a greater distance. With one-touch navigation, you can easily record a memo on the run, and with the included stand, you get hands-free operation, so your recordings won't include the sound of your hand moving near the microphones. Put your iPod to work!

Awesome recorder
- Pros: The quality is great. I use it mainly to record music, and it performs great. Records in stereo, the gain function works well, and it is very easy to use.
- Cons: There is a faint clicking noise from the hard drive, but once there is noise you can't really hear it. Also, everything worked with my iPod Classic except the record button on the side. Still very worth it.
Really Like it
- Pros: The sound quality is excellent. I record lectures in a large lecture hall to listen to on my own and it works great. Our teacher likes to roam around and it still picks him up.
- Cons: One big negative, it will skip about every 5 minutes, but I am kinda playing with it to figure out when it skips and for how long. I think it takes a 5-10 seconds to catch up the recording on the hard drive but I dunno. Lost an egg for it though
- Other Thoughts: Even with the skipping I still feel like it was worth every penny for the 95% of the lecture I do record and listen too later.

Great little piece
- Pros: Great sound quality. Very easy to use. just snap it on and start recording. If you have an auxiliary battery with a small usb adapter, then your set for hours of recording. Very sexy piece, matches well with black ipod video.
- Cons: If your not using a mic to record in quiet setting, the on board mic will pic up the hard drive activity of the ipod. Not a big problem as i have a mic.
- Other Thoughts: This unit works very well to turn my old lp's into mp3's. and work very well to record my college lectures. I would recommend this unit to anyone who is looking for a recorder and wants lots of space to record what ever they want.
