Great performance
- Pros: I do not have the Series II, but I do own the first series, and I'm very very pleased by the quality and clarity of the sound it provides. The bass is awesome, even if it doesn't look like much power, it DOES. Is stylish, good size (can fit pretty much everywhere), can fit any size of iPod, it even includes all sorts of different dock adapters. The remote has the most basic functionality but works well, nice range and looks good. Even at very high volume, the sound does not distort... but trust me, you will never pop it up to the maximum.
- Cons: No aux input. And the power adaptor is kind of bulky, so make sure to hide it... I mean, the speakers are gorgeous and you don't want a big ugly adaptor right next to it. And it would be great if you could browse through your lists with the remote... but all my Cons are actually addressed on the Series II, hope I can get one soon!
- Other Thoughts: You will be amazed by the quality of this product, very well worth the prize... I really had a hard time deciding on buying it because of the price, and I tried many different before going right at it, but I'm so happy I did. I converted the DVD movie 300 to the ipod touch, then plug it in to the dock station and pop up the volume... WOW! sounds better than the average 5.1 home theaters on the market, seriously!! Save money and get this, very well worh it, best sound dock on the market IMO. Bose Home theaters are over hyped-priced, but not this baby.
