5 out of 5 eggspower must be switched to 110

Pros: all around good low cost unit.as with other i agree its pretty silent.good onboard vid is well its via ok lol but all is good for what its being used for.

Cons: make sure you switch the 110/220 volt switch to 110 or you will be like the other viewer that had a whopping unheard of 3 yes i said 3 doa's.is that possible? i sappose so out of my thousands of builds i cant say i have had the privlage of having 3 of any units be a true doa.fact never had more then 1 doa.first time ya but second time if its the same thing and its still not working its prolly my fault. For eample once in a while ill pick up a pc chips board back in the day they set the clear cmos battery to clear thing would turn on but it was a no go after i sent it back for new and got another one and it didnt work i new it had to be my fault.looked the thing over really well from top to bottom from front to back and there that little red thing was in the wrong place oh dumby me.now they place a sticker on the board telling you DONT FORGET.a good rule of thumb if its red check it out twice.

Other Thoughts: mmm none

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Build two of these for two customers, worked right out of the box without any hassle.

Quiet, runs cool.

Cons: Incorrect voltage selection on the PSU, take notice before turning it on.

Other Thoughts: This is the way to go for a barebones setup and a quiet computer.

5 out of 5 eggsNeat little box

Pros: Well built hardware. Easy to install CPU and parts. Booted and ran the 1st time with no problems. Very fast with 7600GS AGP card and IDE drives. Planning on moving to SATA and PCI-E card after XMAS. This design makes it easy to use "old" parts and then upgrade later. Added front fan and the box runs very cool. CPU temp never exceeds 30 degrees Celsius...gotta love that.

Cons: Skimpy included documentation. Website to download PDF of manual a tad cumbersome. Some weirdness with USB devices initially that never returned after a cold start.

Other Thoughts: Super cheap upgrade from 2.7Ghz Celeron eMachine that smoked hard on boot. Used most of the parts from it, so total outlay was under $200 for box and AMD 3500+ CPU.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth the Money

Pros: Great Price,Easy Setup,Attractive, compact, lots of features.Power Supply seems really steady.

Cons: Noisy fans, front panel tabs are flimsy and can be broken easily. No CPU voltage adjustment that I can find.

Other Thoughts: If you are building a bargain pc with good specs this is the way to go! Even runs Dual channel ram.

5 out of 5 eggsworks great

Pros: Plenty fast for the price

Cons: Depending on the processor you get you may have to update the BIOS. you will have to rename the BIOS ROM you get to A8VMQ.ROM for the it to update if you have to update it.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks great.

Cons: Innaccurate specs, and lack of a real manual. According to one of asus's techs, it accepts 400mhz ram only, rather than both 400mhz and 333mhz ram.
