3 out of 5 eggsGood for what it is.

Pros: Reasonably priced. Used it to build my girlfriend an internet machine. Good for that, but tried to run WoW through the onboard video... no-go.

Cons: Video card is a bit outdated, you'll have trouble running any type of modern game. Also the front power button is having issues. Intermittently refuses to turn the system on. Haven't found the root of the problem yet, but I'm pretty convinced its either the psu/case, or the mobo.

Other Thoughts: Not a bad barebone system for the price, but don't expect to game on that onboard card.

2 out of 5 eggsBe prepared!

Pros: Low price, fair amount of space and ready for a lot of fans.

Cons: Extremely flimsy metal, one of the cheapest low quality power supplies I have ever seen in 25+ years of working with computers. It died after turning it off the first time.

Other Thoughts: This combo is worth the price ONLY because of the mobo that comes with it. The metal is very thin and easy to deform. Replace the PS before you bother to begin building, I can almost guarantee you it will fail.

1 out of 5 eggsJUNK

Pros: I'm sure the motherboard and AMD chip are good quality, but I can't confirm it because they did not work.

Cons: The PC case is the biggest piece of junk I have ever seen in my life. The sheet metal the case is made from is only slightly thicker than aluminum foil. Avoid this case if at all possible. Spend $30 for a decent generic case...it's worth the money!

Other Thoughts: I found the Newegg returns department to be pretty nice folks to deal with on the phone, but getting my return credit has taken two months.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very convenient! Just drop in cpu, fans, memory, and drives and off you go! Motherboard already installed and front panel all hooked up. 4 memory slots a must!

Cons: Front panel of case must be unscrewed to install a front- fan. And If intending to use a PCI-e video card, watch the size of any heat sink\ fan as it may block the front panel USB port connectors.

Other Thoughts: I never buy any off the shelf computers anymore and this combo was the easiest for me to put together out of all the others (that's about 5 so far for me).
Besides the front panel not being a pull-off style, I do not really have any complaints.

2 out of 5 eggsCheap, price is right

Pros: Inexpensive. Works properly. PSU fan isn't loud.

Cons: Right out of the box, some of the external sheet metal is bent a bit. Not a great big deal as this is being used as a cheap NAS server, but will look a bit unprofessional. You can't use 3 of the internal 3.5" bays if you use the SATA ports because they will block them, and if you use IDE, you can't use a 3rd one right below the external 3.5" bay. It also comes with only 4 4-pin Molex power plugs hanging off the PSU.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy if you need more than 2 hard drives, or be ready to use 5.25" adapter rails. You'll also need a 4-pin Molex Y-splitter or two, depending on how much stuff you put in here. The front of the case is minimalistic and actually not bad looking, although it is beige. The metal inside is thin and flimsy, but who really cares as long as it holds everything in place without rattling - it dissipates heat better. The fan mounts are empty, so you'll need to buy 2 60mm fans for the back and I think a 140mm for the front, it is bigger than 120mm for sure (checked with an old 120mm fan grill and the mount in the case is bigger).

4 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Perfect motherboard for a budget system... can even play over the top heavy games like Gothic 3... with a 3800 AMD 64 and 1 gig of ram and a cheep $70 vid card...

Cons: VERY loud.... noise doesn't really bother me... but if I could some how make it quieter I would.

Other Thoughts: Needs 2 of ram and a 2ghz processor... and your good as gold as long as your not trying to unravel DNA... gigs =P

The onboard video is great... and its

PCI express only not AGP like that other guy said...

Started with one Ram when first bought this system. Soud is great also from the Motherboard she comes all Together only put CPU in there I put the 4000+ very Fast. and hard Drive and Ram and she is up and Runing.

3 out of 5 eggsHow thin can you make sheet metal?

Pros: The Mobo this comes with is nice

Cons: This is probably the cheapest, ugliest case I have ever used, very thin sheet metal, straight from the box it looks like an abused beer can (dents, wrinkled metal) simply removing it from the box and normal handling added more.

Other Thoughts: if you have some DDR 400, an AGP card and some other parts you need to soak up as I did and want a barebones with a decent Mobo this will do you just fine ;)
