4 out of 5 eggsHappy Overall

Pros: - Quiet
- Inexpensive
- Very well made
- Small footprint

Cons: - I could be wrong, I think the machine only supports 1GB of RAM. NewEgg says 2GB, but MSI's website says 1GB and 2GB. I have a 2GB in mine, but it only sees 1GB. Anyone else experience this as well?
- The VGA port is a little wobbly, I wish it was secured to the backplate somehow
- No gigabit

Other Thoughts: Great product for the price, but I wish the documentation was clearer. I would have not wasted the money on a 2GB stick if I'd known it only accepted 1GB.

5 out of 5 eggsSweeeeet FreeNAS System

Pros: Small, VERY quiet, easy installation
Everything is there and works great!
Onboard RAID 1 works perfectly out of the box.

Cons: need to have small fingers to get to some of the screws.
Sata Cables included with unit need to be 90 degree on one end (Drive side)

Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of these units to build a FreeNAS system (Based on FreeBSD) with redundancy. The onboard RAID 1 works perfectly straight out of the box. I set this up with a pair of 250GB WD SATA drives, 1 GB of RAM. Silent, works great!
And, of course, Newegg's shipping was fantastic!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Really great machine for the price, I have 1GB 667 DDR2 RAM, SATA DVD-RW DL, SATA 200GB HDD, and a M-Audio 1010LT Sound Card. This machine is running XP Pro and Adobe Audition flawlessly.

Cons: could've had 1 or 2 more SATA power connectors.

Other Thoughts: Will recommend to anyone that just needs a simple computer to burn cd's, surf the Internet, and write papers. For me I use it for digital & analog sound recording.

4 out of 5 eggsSlick and simple

Pros: This case is tiny. It's smaller than the DVD player it replaced. It's also just about dead quiet. Perfect for a MythTV setup.

Cons: There is NO documentation on setting up the RAID system at all. And when you call tech-support to find out, the service is horrible. Also the system runs quite hot with a PVR-350 shoved in it. My system has overheated twice already, soo plan on extra fans if you're cramming in a lot.

Other Thoughts: I used 667 RAM with no problem. My system has 512MB, 500GB hard drive, DVD-ROM, and a Hauppage PVR-350. It's the perfect PVR! Also a solid low-end file server with it's built-in RAID (if you can get it setup); cheaper than a NAS, and more flexible.

3 out of 5 eggsBe Careful of the Specifications

Pros: Size, price. C7 processor. Only 1 fan.

Cons: The Specifications Page on newegg lists the supported ram as being 533/667 but the manual lists 400/533. We ordered 667 RAM with it, and it would not post

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Low power, low noise barebones system. Excellent value for a mid to low end workstation.

Cons: Not an intel or AMD socket, but not really needed for this system.

Other Thoughts: Excellent entry system at a $xxx price point. Added a gig of ram, an 80gig drive and dvd rom drive. Total system cost $xxx running Ubuntu.
