Nice unit
- Pros: Love this unit. My first one, but fully functional. Knows where I am and when I get to the corner to tell me to turn. I would be lost without this. Reality view is great. Haven't bought additional maps as the main roads will probably be here for awhile. Worth 89 bucks.
- Cons: Suction cup, keeps falling down

- Pros: Text to speech..Very clear and happy with that. This is my first GPS unit. Wasn't looking for over and beyond units. For the price, and my testing for a few days, I haven't had one problem. I have seen complaints about this GPS taking bad routes, however the recalculation works great, and if you already know somewhat of your route, then just take that way.
Also nice on the highway with reality view, looks great. Tells the current speed limit, and you can set on settings to let you know if your going over.
- Cons: I've had minor trouble with the mount. Unless you play around with it for a bit, it doesn't seem that the suction is that great.
- Other Thoughts: Overall, worth it for $85
Excellent with iGO 8 Software
- Pros: - Supports TTS (Text To Speech), meaning it will speak out the actual street names instead of just saying "Turn right at 600 meters".
- Works great with iGO 8 GPS navigation software (Google it). Once you install an aftermarket GPS software, the Navigon product is just a touch screen with a GPS receiver and speakers, but it's a well-priced and finely built one. The iGO 8 software allows instantaneous key input response, more features, and faster routing.
- Cons: The factory Navigon software is laggy and has dumb routing. However this is rectified by installing iGO 8 software.
- Other Thoughts: I bought 3 more of these devices.. one for my car (I already have a smaller 2100 non-MAX version that will be going into my motorcycle) and two for my friends.
In case you're wondering, I don't work for iGO 8. I'm just happy that a Navigon 2100 paired with iGO 8 software for $85, it's superior to the expensive Garmin and TomTom devices.
