Pros: Fantasting FREE UPS shipping and well packaging by Newegg. I owned higher end Midland Two-Way Radios previously so I know what I am getting. Pretty decent make and just basic channel selection and call functions. Easy to use.

Cons: Added privacy encryption function with be better.

Pros: Works as advertised. Decent construction of hard plastic and well laid out controls. Decent, communications quality audio.

Cons: Forget the range claims, which I'm sure no one believes anyway. I'm sure you could get a "few miles" if you had clear line-of-sight over water, but 1/4-1/2 mile is more realistic in typical "urban" environments. The charger apparently does not turn off or enter a "trickle" state so you have to remove the radios after a day or so to prevent over charging.

Other Thoughts: Great for the occasional communications needs. The price is right.

Pros: Items came within usual great Newegg time frame.

Cons: One big one. They don't work. 2 pieces of hard plastics with some circuitry in it that makes all kinds of squelching noise but could communicate with one another for the life of creation. Absolute junk garbage doo-doo whatever you want to call them. Sneding them back, going to a different maker.
