Great Online Game!
- Pros: Great game with longevity! There basically is no end to the entertainment this game will bring you. People who like Counter Strike will love Shadowrun. On top of just using guns, you have magic that enhances the game even further. You can pick different characters with different abilities. Fragging and winning rounds earns you more cash to buy more enhancements.
- Cons: It's outdated. Don't expect a 2 year old game to have graphics of a newly released one. This game has decent graphics, but that's not what the game is trying to accomplish. For those achievement hunters, this is a tough one to get a high score on, demanding over 500+ games (not rounds).
- Other Thoughts: For $10, if you have not played it and enjoy online FPS, you need to pick this up. It is worth the money!
Shadowrun is a Classic.
- Pros: Classic FPS game. Any lovers of competitive first person shooters will find this a great game to compete in and have fun with. The game has been out for about two years now and it is still a lot of fun to play.
Yes there is no single player and it doesn't continue the gameplay of past games under the Shadowrun license, but what a lot of people don't understand is that this was designed to be a competitive first person shooter with MLG in mind. That means multiplayer only.
Even if you aren't always playing to win you will still have a lot of fun playing!
- Cons: I ordered 2 copies of this thinking it would be the Xbox 360 version... since it should be. But instead I received 2 Games for Windows copies of the game. Hopefully Newegg will stock up on more Xbox 360 copies so I can order some!
- Other Thoughts: Get this game.
Price is only $12.99 now + Free Shipping! Product was shipped reasonably fast and in good condition. Newegg rocks! :D

Great Online Game!

Solid Game, excellent value
- Pros: Amazing gameplay, fun matches, huge array of powers and classes (made more fun by achievements assigned to using them all).
Infitite replay value. A whole summer or two's worth of fun (during rainy days, of course). Goes really well with Cherry Limeade for some reason
- Cons: No offline campaign (only bots, which is ok), the company that made it went out of business so no support or expansions
- Other Thoughts: Get this game. For $10, you will not be upset. I like it almost as much as Phantom Dust, another priced-right sleeper hit.

great game
- Pros: years later and this is still my favorite xbox 360 game to play. a first person shooter using both science and magic? yes, please! it is best when your team is acting as a cohesive whole to strategize and to counter opposing strategies in each round. each weapon/spell/ability has a counter move - making the game a type of first person complex rock/paper/scissors.
- Cons: if you enjoy destroying your enemy "x to nothing" then the mechanics for balanced play will not be your thing.
some of the graphics seem incomplete (i.e. climbing a ladder animation), but the game still plays correctly.
if you're a faithful fan of other shadowrun materials, the liberties taken with the source material might bother you.
- Other Thoughts: i keep hoping something else will rise from the ashes of the FASA team - giving us a follow-up to this great game.
