5 out of 5 eggsgreat phone

Pros: Had this phone for over a year now and it has been great. Good camera, can play mp3s, games, and FM radio. The sd card is awesome combined with the usb link you can put tons of games, music, and themes on your phone with ease. Good signal as well. Infared and bluetooth also work well.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: As many times as I have dropped it you think it'd be dead by now.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent phone, but...

Pros: This is an awesome phone, as with any Sony Ericsson. It is very well built and the menu is super fast. The Walkman features are nice, but I've yet to determine if it could serve as a 100% replacement for my iPod Nano.

Cons: Size! It may no be the best phone for a male considering how difficult it is to hold while talking. The volume is not as high as I would like it when using the Walkman feature. To use headphones, you have to use the supplied adapter, a little too long.

Other Thoughts: Great phone overall, but has minor quirks.

5 out of 5 eggsA good purchase

Pros: Good MP3 player. Good signal. Nice design. Decent battery life. 2.0 MP camera. Overall solid.

Cons: No 3G support and one time the phone did crash on me and restarted but no data was lost or damaged. Other than that, no complaints.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Phone

Pros: The phone has decent battery life, a great looking screen, and many options. I sync it with Outlook 2003 over bluetooth and it helps keep me on time. the 2MP camera has great quality when taking a pic of something well lit! The Phone is very sturdy and has survived a few drops. the expandable memory is better than sliced bread. i have a 2GB card that stores photos, video clips, ringtones, files, useful documents, etc. i use the phone as a flash drive. the flashlight function has been invaluable on a number of occasions, just set it up as a short-cut.

Cons: Poor quality photos in low light (but still better than most camera-phones I've seen). A lens protector would have been nice. I dont like the "connector" on the bottom (seems kinda flaky). i sometimes have a hard time getting the phone to recognize a cable is attached.

Other Thoughts: Bluetooth works great. Signal reception is slightly better than some of my friends phones. I wish there were more non-flip phones out there!

Pros: Great reception, ringers get very loud, bright, crisp screen, good design, great bluetooth range.

Cons: Honestly can't think of one.

Other Thoughts: Just wish that I could afford the k800!

4 out of 5 eggsAWESOME PHONE!!!!!!!!

Pros: First awesome feature is the fully detailed mp3 ringtones and music player. The music player is very good although it does have occasional cracks in the songs (not because of the song files). There are some awesome equalizer options on the phone as well. And you can make your ringtone anything you want as long as the have the file, mp3 files are mostly what I use. You can record your dog barking, save it as mp3, and use it as a ringtone. Any songs that you have you can use portions of it as your ringer. Just download an editing program like Audacity and edit your songs no longer than 30secs (ringer only last like 17secs) and you can use it as a ringer. Second awesome feature is the themes you can get for the phone. Just google w810i themes and go to the site. Soooo many awesome themes there. They also have other stuff like games, ringtones and screensavers, all for free. And I haven’t had a problem with running low on battery. Havent tested out the Bluetooth yet.

Cons: First off the freakin camera doesn’t have a cover. WHY?! Anyways you should get a plastic cover to protect the phone, but keep in mid most plastic covers don’t cover the camera. Im just worried about getting dust in the lens as it should be pretty resistant to scratches unless you somehow stick something sharp in the camera hole. Second, the camera quality is not great, the video seems even worst, but that’s to be expected from a 300 dollar phone. OH AND very importantly is the interference! It does make speakers chirp sometimes. I get this on my z-5500 speakers. Haven’t notice it in the car yet but probably does it too. Also I think the phone volume is quite low and hard to hear people sometimes, even on max volume. A lot of people tell me that Im talking too loud as well so the phone seems to magnify your voice. I dunno if there is an option to control this but I haven’t found it. Oh and sony phones you have to buy ProDuo mem card which is very expensive if you need more than 1GB.

Other Thoughts: Overall I think it’s a great phone and probably one of the best you can get at this price. Good buy in my opinion.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat phone!

Pros: Awesome phone and interface. Can't complain about anything at all except one nag about Bluetooth.

Cons: I just wish this supported Bluetooth stereo listening of music.

Other Thoughts: I use this phone with T-Mobile in the US and with Telia in Sweden and it works perfectly with both. I just swap out my SIM card while over the Atlantic and I'm ready to go when I land.

5 out of 5 eggsI LOVE IT!

Pros: 2MP Camera, light, auto-focus, Walkman Player, bright/crisp screen, expandable storage. AMAZING PHONE, MY FAVORITE OF ALL TIME!

Cons: Hiss in playback, but cured with some driver updates (custom-made). No shutter for camera (meaning no cover, "naked" to the elements) so I slapped an old K750i back cover to it.

Other Thoughts: The Pros greatly outweigh ANY con. I love this phone. Be sure to check out for all the cool things you can do w/ it!

5 out of 5 eggsImpressive piece of technology

Pros: Great reception (cingular), fast, great camera, Mp3 player, huge battery life, expandable memory, great Walkman sound, ease of use... there is just so much good stuff about this phone!

Cons: The earplugs are uncomfortable and tend to fall out all the time and are not very loud, but make a good sound, the camera lens, as well as the screen, could use a cover or some protection, the software to upload music could be smarter.

Other Thoughts: Apart from those minor issues it is a great phone. Its the king among M-t-r-ls!
by the way- you can make a mp3 ringtone, but the song has to be less than 500 Kb! when uploading music, you should set to lowest quality and the phone will play it!

4 out of 5 eggsgood phone

Pros: small, thin, light. speakers mounted are plenty loud, headphone adapter is nice. camera, pretty darn good. many features like b&w and negative. takes film, with sound, as well as photos.

Cons: i only worry that i might do something stupid and ruin it.

Other Thoughts: i dropped it in the toilet, while i was using the toilet. i immediately retrieved it and powered down. removed battery and sim card, wiped down with isopropyl, air dry. waited 2 hours. re power, works fine, everything is fine... speakers screen, microphone, all the buttons, the mp3 playing, the memory card, everything is fine... be more careful than me.
