Excellent all-in-one phone
- Pros: * Fast, responsive interface and controls
* Very convenient to use software and applications * Sleek design * Included headphones are very nice quality, comparable to my BOSE earphones * Excellent smartphone for those such as myself who prefer not to have touchscreens.
- Cons: * Lack of 3.5mm headphone jack, requires proprietary adapater which is not included
* Can't multitask music while streaming internet for browsing or AIM/MSN messenging * microSD slot is hidden underneath the SIM card slot so it can be very inconvenient if you switch out the card often. I would recommend connecting to your computer via bluetooth or USB rather than using an SD-card adapter. * Expensive
- Other Thoughts: I switched from an Nokia N96 to this phone after the Nokia S60 interface proved to be too inconvenient and glitchy. Windows Mobile 6.1 support is far superior and has a lot of free applications that are easy to install and use. Overall a solid and excellent phone if you can afford it.
Very usable phone, excellent features.
- Pros: I upgraded from the HTC Diamond, and what a difference. Love the keyboard, makes texting easier. The phone is a long candy bar type, but for my hands at least, it is very comfortable. The best feature is in its comms. I currently have it set up to receive all my webmail accounts, and I've completely eliminated my Broadband Account. Instead, I just use the Bluetooth to tether to my laptop, and initiate Internet sharing and away I go on my cell carrier's 3G network. Last time I checked I was getting speeds in excess of 500kpbs down. Best of all, my phone still works while it's tethered. Try that one iPhone. :-p
Also love WinMo 6.1, once you figure out what you want, this phone most likely will be able to deliver.
- Cons: The keyboard takes some getting used to, the space bar is awkwardly placed, but these are things you will get used to.
- Other Thoughts: I usually change out my phones yearly, and this may be the first phone to last past that point. I love the capabilities and flexibility of the phone. Oh and did I mention you can chuck that $60/month broadband account?
