S9 Rocks
- Pros: great sound quality (both speaker and microphone)
super light (barely notice it on)
battery lasts all day
integrated buttons to control volume, fwd/rew and call
- Cons: took a week or so to get used to the feeling
- Other Thoughts: At first the headset felt a little uncomfortable, forcing me to remove
it after an hour or two. However after using it straight for a week I
became comfortable enough with the design to keep it in all day. Nearly
a month later and I barely notice it.
The battery is extremely powerful. On a typical work day (8-10 hours) I
generally listen to music for 6 hours and take a half dozen calls
(maybe lasting 1/2 hour) and it has yet to run out of power (charging
each night). In fact, I had to get an extended battery for my blackberry
curve to keep up with the S9!
Works good
- Pros: No wires, syncs easily with my LG ENV2, recharges quickly and great for a busy person. How big is your head? This device fits mine (7.25 hat size) perfect and with some room to spare.
- Cons: Play time is only 2-3 hours, then you have to fully recharge. Yes, the ear buds are a little uncomfortable at first, but you get used to them. The bluetooth range could be improved.

Not for workouts where u sweat
- Pros: Nice compact design.
- Cons: Despite having the water proof apperance of being rubberized and resistant to moisture they are not.
- Other Thoughts: This is my second pair (first was replaced easily from Newegg! thumbs up there). But using them to listen to music from my itouch while on the treadmill is a no go. After a few good runs where you sweat, I suspect the moisture gets into the seals around the buttons and shorts out the controls. The volume increase button died on both my sets after a few weeks of use.
Other cons, the devices do have problems in wide open spaces (outside on the road) they skip anytime sometime passes between the transmitter and headset. I use a Bluna on my itouch, and it worked great with my older Moto BT820's (surprisingly they hold up better to the moisture than these). Inside, these S9's work fine...moisture problem aside.
needs more evolution
- Pros: Great sound quality, good battery life, Stays on your head well, voice works well, volume and skip buttons right on your head, no cords of course
- Cons: first one was used twice and then the battery died totally and would not charge. The next one I received has been workin fine. The ear pieces will impede behind the ear sunglasses so think about that if you plan to run or workout in the sun, or if you just wanna wear your cool shades in the gym.
- Other Thoughts: This technology needs to evolve a little more. There isn't a whole bunch of great stereo bluetooth headsets out there yet.

- Pros: well it was alleged to be used for working out.
- Cons: only one speaker worked, not sure why. it came in a box with a 3 inch spanish only info card and a charger cord. it was sent back to newegg, hope i can get one that works
