Motorola Over-The-Ear Bluetooth Headset Black Bulk (H780) - OEM

Pros: looks neat, with good sounding features.

Cons: Ordered two, one came in DOA.
-Had to pay egg shipping to RMA the DOA unit
-Incessant hiss-clicking and popping in the ear to the point of uselessness on both headsets, others work fine with my phone.
-Now Trying to replace via Motorola, as I've been unable to get these to work...what a nightmare that is. Numerous calls to support, numerous disconnected support calls, they try and push older products with less features as 'upgraded' headsets. They only send one replacement device, instead of two. They claimed they'd include shipping back, yet did not.

Other Thoughts: I will *never* buy another Motorola product. This product is shoddy, and their support is made to be so brutally slow and painful, their goal appears to make it easier to just not bother.

Fool me once, motorola.....

Pros: I like the design of he headset, it looks nice.

Cons: This headset is a joke. Not only does it make a crack/snap in your ear every once in a while, it hardly ever picks up my phone when I turn it on. So you have to turn it on and off repeatedly untill it picks up reception. Then once it is on, it shuts off and sends calls back to your phone without you knowing it. So people either think you've hungup or you're mute. It's horrible and sometimes I want to stomp on it like it's a beetle in my basement!

Other Thoughts: Horrible. Looking to see if I can get a replacement after I'm done this review. I had another H780 that worked ok, till the wire came out of the earbud. Thought it was a one-off kind of issue. Motorola agreed to send a new one as it was under warranty...but I had to make 6 followup calls...describing how I sent in a headset each time...to fianlly get a replacement sent to me 4 months later. I ultimately lost that headset...which is why I ordered another. I won't be buying another Motorola headset EVER after my experiences.

Pros: Works great, fits great and sounds good. This is the best ear piece I have tried yet.

Cons: Ear loop already broke in half. Be gentle with it.

Pros: NewEgg service is great

Cons: THIS MODEL IS A DUD. DON'T BUY!!!

Other Thoughts: this is the only time I had a problem with a product purchased from NewEgg... The first unit I received was actually brand-new (despite multiple accounts of repackaged units from others). It worked great! But... I discovered that the battery wouldn't hold charge and died after just 2 hours of standby, or even when completely turned off. So got it replaced, and the second one HAD been used, and also didn't work. NewEgg graciously refunded my money. But why are you guys selling those, even when so many people complain those units are not new/defective?

Pros: small size, nice looking

Cons: horrible speaker, very pitchy , very unusable

Pros: It came quickly.

Cons: This obviously was 'pre-owned.' The extra earpieces mentioned in the well handled instructions (the Spanish instructions were pristine) were missing. With the noise cancellation turned on, other parties said it was unintelligible. With the noise cancellation turned off, they said it sounded like I was in a cave. I don't have any doubts about why the 1st owner sent it back. This is my first less than excellent experience with NewEgg. Disappointing!

Pros: Good price for features. The voice cancellation works well.

so go for one of them, h695 or whatever...

Pros: Light & comfortable, good sound quality and straightforward operation, Micro-USB charger.

Cons: Haven't found any so far

Other Thoughts: Uses the newly established Micro-USB charger standard which makes it future proof.

Pros: Connects to my Blackjack II reliably
Hard power switch
Convenient multi-colored LED status indicator
Noise reduction, which can be disabled
Decent Sound Quality

Cons: A bit larger (thicker) than similar products.
Could be more comfortable.
Will not stay in my ear without the hanger.
Speaker protrudes far away from main body of unit, making it sit further away from the side of my face.

Other Thoughts: Would give this item 3.5 eggs if Newegg allowed me to, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and rounded up to 4.
