1 out of 5 eggscumbersome, at best

Pros: It's lightweight, magnetic charger... looks nice?

Cons: This is the hardest headset I have ever tried to operate. Maybe my hands are just too big, but the controls are horrible. Trying to get the thing in pairing mode manually is a chore, at best. I was never able to do it. A co-worker managed to do it, but only accidently. When it finally paired, the volume was just not there. Even after turning it all the way up, it was still fairly quiet, not like other headsets I have had in the past. Oh, NoiseAssassin? Yeah, not so much. I made a couple of calls to my work voice mail and there was a ton of background noise. To the point that it was almost covering my voice.

Other Thoughts: I like the idea of the headset design being clean and not cluttered. I do not like the actual, real-life design I received. For me, it was very cumbersome. I wish I would have put more a little more faith in the reviews...

1 out of 5 eggsBad batch of Jawbone 2

Pros: Price

Cons: Defective noise assassin button

Other Thoughts: This is a replacement already. The first one I got had a defective noise assassin button. I had newegg exchange it for a new one. Mind you I paid shipping back to newegg...only to find out the unit they sent me is also defective with the same problem!! My wife had an exact model of Jawbone 2 before without any problems until she lost it. This seems to be a bad batch of Jawbone 2!!!

1 out of 5 eggsUNPROFESSIONAL

Pros: It was cheap...

Cons: Supposed to come with free Xgear case as advertised
Did not come in a Jawbone box for some strange reason
Supposed to have extra inner ear pieces and different sizes of ear "hanger" pieces. Has nothing!
Minimal instructions included...
Shipping was unusually slow...6 days

Other Thoughts: I hope this product isnt refurbished cuz i wouldve never have bought it. It wasnt advertised as such. It looks like someone previously owned it, returned it, and then they shipped it to me cuz of the lack of a box and materials...which kinda grosses me out putting it in my ear knowing it may be "used"
I have given NewEgg alot of my business- but they dropped the ball this time!

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: None so far.

Cons: Newegg's receiving department was too aggressive cutting open their bulk box. Their box cutter sliced completely through the charging cable.

Other Thoughts: The one day estimated shipping took over a week. Now with an RMA, it may approach a month.

3 out of 5 eggsIt's OK. Nothing fantastic, but decent

Pros: Haven't had any battery complaints, easy hook up to my iPhone 3G

Cons: didn't come with any extra ear pieces, instructions are only so-so, working the 'buttons' below the plastic covers can be tricky when the documentation isn't that great to begin with.
In-ear comfort is "OK" at best. But I only wear it when I'm using it. Otherwise, it's in my car's cupholder or on a shelf in my house.

Other Thoughts: For under $40, it's not bad. It's my first bluetooth earpiece. The "NoiseAssassin" function works OK, but not "WOW Awesome!". Still gives that "are you in a barrel?" sound for the person on the other end, but that person on the other end can tell when it's on/off.

When it arrived I let it charge until the light was white. Standby time seems to be a couple of days. Battery has lasted at least a couple of hours of talk which is fine. I'm never away from a charging opportunity for more than a day or two, so needing 8 hours of talk time or 100 hours standby (made-up numbers) isn't critical to me. Plus, the charge is/can be USB based, so anywhere you've got USB port, you've got a charging location.

Easy instructions for iPhone: 1) Enable Bluetooth on the phone. Phone will go into "Discoverable" mode. 2) On the Jawbone, hold the middle/inner button for about 5 seconds and you'll hear the increasing tone scale. Then one more single tone automatically after that and you're don

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid

Pros: Size. Weight. Style.

Cons: Battery renders useless.

Other Thoughts: The battery intermittently held its charge. I didn't use it a lot until lately, and now the battery only lasts about 10 minutes. It's past the 30 period so newegg.ca won't help me. I'm nervous about dealing with the oem - will post any good news stories here.
