Stylish, lightweight, and loaded with features, the Cardo scala-700 Bluetooh headset has everything you need for hands-free communication. Cardo's SWAP technology lets you pair the headset with two different phones and switch between them with the push of a button. The device's six-level volume range, speaker booster and echo-cancellation technology further enhance the headset's audio quality. You also get options like voice dial and re-dial, call waiting, conference calling, and call reject.
Always worried about running out of battery life? With a press of a button, the scala-700's LEDs instantly display whether it's fully charged (blue), half charged (blue and red) or in immediate need for recharging (red). And if you're prone to misplacing your headset, you'll like its built-in buzzing locator. Press a button on your phone and the headset gives out a series of audible tones.
A single charge for two to three hours via USB or travel wall charger gets you up to 10 continuous hours of talk time and 240 hours of standby time.

Highly Satisfied
- Pros: Very small & lightweight, loud & clear audio quality (both incoming & outgoing), strong battery life, nice button layout/functionality.
- Cons: The supplied earhook causes some discomfort after a while, and it takes some time & finagling to find the ideal fit and positioning.
- Other Thoughts: Lots of folks rave over the Scala-500, so I figure I'll try the more upscale 700 model. For the extra $, you get Bluetooth v1.2 instead of the 500's v1.1 (so there's less radio interference), and a smaller form factor. I believe it was well worth the extra $.
A bit disappointed
- Pros: -Small and lightweight
-Long battery life -Good amplifier/speaker
- Cons: -Touching or adjusting the headset while on a call creates very loud noises for the person you're talking to
-Not very good range when walking away from phone -Can't send call from handset to headset if call was initially answered/made on the handset
- Other Thoughts: This is my first bluetooth headset. I've used it with a Samsung d407 for about 6 weeks. I read all the positive reviews about the Scala 700 before I bought it, but I found myself feeling very disappointed. If I have the headset in my right ear and the phone on my right hip, the person I'm speaking to gets a lot of feedback. I have to be very close to the headset for decent reception. I don't have much to compare it to, but I wouldn't recommend this product for purchase.

You get what you paid for.
- Pros: Cheap. Light. Gets the job done in a basic sense. Button scheme is straightforward and intuitive. Nothing sticking into your ear is better for comfort.
- Cons: In the presence of background noise (driving, loud street), does very poorly. The fact that it doesn't stick in your ear means it's hard to hear people speaking softly. Difficult to adjust to get the right comfortability. Degrades to garbage after you move 5 feet away.
- Other Thoughts: If you're an occasional user and looking for something basic and don't expect much from it, this is for you. However, this performs poorly in any "stressful" (background noise, more than 5 feet, rough user, etc) conditions. Get something better, and save yourself the frustration. Indeed you get what you paid for.
LOVE it!
- Pros: This headset is lightweight and comfortable to wear. The battery life is excellent. I have had no complaints for "drop-out" even while in the high noise server room I am in. The ability to switch between phones is great since I have my own and one for the office. Volume has excellent quality.
- Cons: I do not have any cons at this time.
- Other Thoughts: This headset is better than both of the Motorola's I previously owned both in comfort and quality. I have used the H320 & H850.
Not so great
- Pros: Small and inexpensive
- Cons: Microphone lets in lots of ambient noise; forget talking outside or in a car, it sounds like a wind tunnel. Poor quality connectivity with device.
- Other Thoughts: I quit using it because everyone complained about the sound, too much background noice or a really poor connection with the device, a Palm 700p. I am really disappointed by this product.
