Wear this little unit from Jabra on a lanyard around your neck (not included) and you've got music and phone control ready to hand. A 3.5mm jack lets you use the included earbuds or your own, while a microphone in the unit picks up your voice.
Digital sound processing cuts down on noise, and when a call comes in, your music is paused for the duration. (Your phone and music device must support these functions.) Eight hours of talk time or seven hours of music, and up to two hundred thirty hours of standby time keep you covered. Connect to two devices at the same time, if that's the way you play it, while the one ounce weight keeps you from feeling like a beast of burden at the end of the day.
Why should you have to choose between your phone and your music when you can do both? Check it and see if this is the one for you.
Pros: Great Product. Very compact and light weight. The sound quality and range is amazing. I never actually wear it around my neck but it is easy to clip to the shirt.
Cons: Noticed a delay when adjusting the volume, but that might be my phone.

Pros: Does what it say it will do.
Cons: none so far
Other Thoughts: A lot of people were remarking that this product was pointless because you still needed wired headphones. However, the reason I purchased this item was to play music from my phone thru my car speakers. My phone has no audio out so I use the bt3030 along with an old tape adapter and it works so much better than a FM transmitter. Great product!

A Workin' Man's Bluetooth
Reviewed By: WTJ on 8/3/2008
Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 day to 1 week
This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: I work in an incredibly noisy enviornment. With my earbuds under my ear protection, the dog tag hanging around my neck, tucked in my shirt and my BB Curve in it's glove case in my pants pocket, I am ONE HAPPY WORKER!
I listen to WSJ, TWIT and TTC podcasts and can quickly reach in my shirt to pause when I need to devote concentration elsewhere.
Regardless of the MP3 player or Smartphone's quality, their jacks won't last with constant daily tugging from an earbud's plug. (My other Curve lasted less than a year before rubber bands were needed for strain-relief))
This setup puts NO stress on the dogtag jack and none on my BB Curve!
Why others here aren't happy with battery life seems strange. I turn my Jabra on about 7 A.M. and don't turn it off 'til 5 P.M. I do "pause" frequently, but I've yet to see it run out. (I may swap in my spare BB battery, but Jabra keeps on blinking!)
At home I've ranged >40 feet (But large machinery at work limits it to about 20 feet)
Cons: Not REALLY a con, considering the long battery life, but the volume is just a bit wanting in a noisy enviornment, (unless you wear your buds under ear protectors).
And yes, your phone call's recipient will hear a lot of ambient noise because of the location of the dog tag's microphone ( on your chest, below your head), but the average Borg units are just as bad on city streets.
Other Thoughts: This thing is making my day 100% better! But I think I may also get the latest Jawbone unit for serious phone use. (There's a price increase on the newer ones, but reviewers claim that they're monster truck noise-proof).
BTW, someone suggested that the keypad is unwieldy or not sturdy enough? That fellow's confused!

Pros: This has a pretty good set of earphones. As good as you could expect for about $30-$50 earbuds. The volume level gets loud enough. Sound almost as good as being plug directly into the phone/pc/mp3 player. Can connect to 2 devices at the same time. I have my mp3's playing through my laptop while waiting for calls on my cell.
Cons: Doesn't do voice dialing correctly. I can't initiate a call from the headset. I need to pull out my cell to make a call. It may just be my phone.

Pros: Works good, sounds great. Headset came with 2 other sets of replaceable earpieces so you can (hopefully) find some that fit your ears comfortably.
Cons: Using this on my pc makes my bluetooth mouse lag horribly.
Other Thoughts: It uses the mini headset plug so if you dont like earbuds you can switch them to a headset.

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: I am using this with a HTC Dash / S620 / S621 (Excalibur) for T-Mobile and of all the stereo Bluetooth headsets I have tried this is truly the best one I have found for streaming music. I also have to disagree with the guy who said it was not loud enough (he is either deaf or its a problem with his phone) the volume is almost too loud at maximum and all the controls work with this one and my phone! (most don't have music player controls)
Cons: the headphone cable could be made better, it should have equal length cords for both sides and a few inches shorter (but then someone would complain its too short
the response to the controls has a slight delay but nothing to complain about, the other headsets i tries also had similar delays
Other Thoughts: the bass is great with the included headphones, (i have not tried my Sony set yet) but i do have a set of Sony speakers (non powered) for a Walkman and these sound ok too
I bought these for bicycle riding and other outdoor activities where cords get in the way and the fact that this one has all the controls for volume, next, etc
